I am glad I found this product in Red as it matches the bricks on my home. Unfortunately only the Randallstown store had it (not in Owings Mills or Eldersburg), and they've run out. I could use a few more. The product does not bend and stay in place as shown on the product photo so we cut it on a 45 degree angle and that worked well.

These edging strips are made of old tires so this makes them durable and love how flexible they are when placing around flower beds. Have mowed around them and the lawn mower simply rides over without pulling it up or tearing it up. Love these we have used many other types of edging this is by far the best.

I went to a Home Depot store and bought 15 pieces of these (each is 4 ft long) for my front yard. Easy to install and looks good. I used miter saw to cut angles on corners. On the side of the garden that meets the driveway and sidewalk, I put the flat side of the L on the inside of the garden bed. Highly recommended!

My goal this year was to make the front area plantings look more professional and less DIY. EcoBorder is THE BOMB! Went in super easy, looks top notch and not cheap, and it really holds the mulch in nicely. Neighbors were already stopping by this morning to find out what the edging was as they were all so impressed. I almost hated to tell them, because I don't want a block full of copycats! Haha. (Incidentally, I did tell them and I even told them they could get it online at Home Depot.) I am including a picture...it is more of my flower bed than a close up of the border...was not taking the photo for this review, but to send over to my niece to show her what I did. The photo does show you how well it holds up 3 inches of mulch, however. Overall, great product that I would highly recommend. FYI - If you do it a day or two after a rain...you can easily push the stakes in with your hand. I'm a skinny lady with zero muscle, and it was a cinch and no broken stakes.

For pricier edging, these are great compared to alternatives I've used. I have very rocky ground, but somehow the little plastic stakes they give you go right in without much effort. These are nice and simple because you can lay it out, connect them together and tack them down without digging. They are very heavy duty and have a nice feel to them. I used them on a straight area. They do flex, but based on how they feel, I would think curves would have to be gradual.

My wife bought me a pallet of this and I love it. Ecoborder is an excellent product for all applications and yes for even tight turns. See my photos. I did make a few cuts in the product to accommodate my particular landscape and satisfy my wife. She wanted curves and tight turns.

I found these last year and used them to border by front flower garden. They look beautiful, held up great over the winter. I especially love the way they are so bendable for around corners and made from recycled rubber. Even if they fade, I will spray paint or stain them, but so far they have held up great. Got a few more the other day to border another area. I did notice the price went up a little since last year, as well as everything usually does. As you can see from the picture, it is winter, but when all the perinnials and hosta appear, it is beautiful! the best part is that my push mower wheel can go right on the edge, so no more weed wacking is needed!

So much better than steel edging. Although it costs more than steel, it has several advantages. 1) Much easier to install - No trenching required, follows curves and contours of the ground, can be cut to length easily if needed. At least 50% faster to install than steel edging. 2) Safer - no sharp edge, won't ever rust. 3) It looks better - soft edges blend in with the landscape yet provide a solid border for pathways and garden beds. I bought a pallet of it and picked it up at the store, much less expensive that way (if you need that much).

This curbing looks great. It's rather easy to use, especially on straight runs. Curves are trickier. It does bend, but not as easily as they lead you to believe. I found it impossible to use the connectors, however, it installs fine using just the included stakes. Ordering it by the pallet was a great way to buy, as it was cheaper than individual pieces, even with S/H charges. It was also delivered several days sooner than estimated. Circling a tree was a challenge, but I made it work. There are gaps, though, as it doesn't sit flush with the next piece when bending to form a circle. Overall, it's a great material, and very easy to do-it-yourself!

Works great as a driveway border
We used this as a border along our driveway to keep water and silt runoff from the hillside getting to our house foundation. It was easy to install with a waterproof adhesive.

            Makes a nice border
We wanted to replace the edging we had around our flower bed. I saw this product online and decided to take a trip to the Home Depot to check it out. We really like the look of it, and it was easy to install. My husband had to cut one piece, which was also easy to do.

We have tried many different edging products over the years and I wish this one was available when we were first looking. It is easy to work with around our lawn. Would highly recommend!

                The Best Edging Ever!!!
This unique edging will go just about anywhere and will inspire you to think outside the boxy lines of boring old-style borders. It makes circles around the trees to neatly separate the bark from the rocks and curved borders everywhere else. I changed my mind about the design after beginning this project and easily moved and reinstalled the affected edging without any problems. We love it!

                Excellent for straight runs
This works well if you have straight runs and your curves only require a single piece. I found that if you have to join pieces on the curve, a gap will form on the connection. The sharper the turn, the worse the gap. I had one sharp turn that the little pegs wouldn't hold in place. I had to put in wedges to hold the piece in place. You could cut the pieces so that they meet more smoothly, but I found cutting them to be a pain. I often had to re-cut the piece multiple times as you can't make fine adjustments to an existing cut. I have also broken the heads off several of the stakes while trying to pound them in. It is especially challenging when the head gets below the rise, the hammer bounces off the rubber rise. I added a would block between the hammer and stake to fix this. But I am fairly happy with it. I've gotten lots of positive feedback from the neighbors and visitors.

                Well worth the cost!
I seriously wanted to give this a 4.99 star because I've only had it down for 2 days. Need to see how it will hold up. However, I don't anticipate an issue. This is the perfect solution for a DIY 50 year old female with minor back pains. Wait for it...it's the perfect solution for anyone. I can't afford to spend tens of thousands of dollars to have the dream backyard I envision... so I do it all myself. I bought 40 feet of the red rubber edging (10) in total and paired it with red wood mulch ( will upgrade to rubber mulch later - that's a whole other wonderful option) The edging works just like the description says it should. Yes, it bends, but it does cause some resistance if trying to bend too much. The plastic connectors that hold the edging together are loosened when trying to curve to much. The plastic stakes that come with the edging are sturdy. (Check your package before leaving the store - one of mine didn't have the stakes included; but HD replaced on the spot) I did break the head of two stakes but I was seriously pounding in an extra hard area . If you're not trying to get to fancy with to many curves you can have this in place in a matter of 10-15 minutes out the bag. I spent over an hour because I was trying to create a snake affect and having OCD moments trying to make the two sides of the pathway match; later decided opposites add distinction (e.g. I got tired and gave up) The edging certainly provided a much cleaner look than before. Glad I didn't go with the metal edging. You may get more in square footage when purchasing the metal, but you will lose aesthetics in comparison to this product. I added before and after pics

                So many compliments
Bought this edging to replace bricks placed around our flower beds. The bricks had to be removed twice a year, clear cut edged, lifted and dirt added to raise them, and remove the runners from our turf that would go between the bricks. Pressure washing also was a requirement. Although our new border did not come out perfectly tight due to some of the bends we needed, we are very pleased with the product and have twice since ordered additional. As others have suggested, installation of the curving pieces followed by the straighter it much easier to manage. A bit expensive but the hoped for elimination of former maintenance will be worth it. Now that the front is almost finished dear hubby wants to continue the edging all around our house. When we moved into our house 5 years ago I hoped to put concrete edging around the beds. But this edging was easy to do and gives flexibility that concrete can't in the event we want to make changes later on. We have had many compliments from neighbors about how the black we choose gives the yard a rich, neat, clean look.

Ecoborder: professional, clean, impressive landscape edging
I am extremely pleased with Ecoborder landscape edging. It looks incredible, was somewhat easy to install, and is functional and durable. As it turned out, I had to obtain special approval from my HOA to use it, since rubber was not an item that was approved or not approved. In my application, I stressed the enviromental impact, the safety component (vs approved HOA products: metal edging and brick paving stones), and provided a picture to demonstrate how seamless the visual transition is from the black border to the black mulch in the flower beds. I love the crisp, clean look and could not be more happy with the final results. The installation was fairly easy. Cutting the material to create mitered corners and to fit to size was much more difficult than expected. I had to use a miter saw. Not too upset about this since it further demonstrates the product durability. I finished my install just a week ago and have had several neighbors inquire about it and love it as well. I fully intend to buy more for my back yard and hope they have enhanced the product line with corner pieces.

                Great product!
This edging was easy to install and work with. It is a bit pricey, but it is the only product we could find to do what we wanted because of the flexibility and height needed to help prevent erosion and separate top soil, gravel, and mulch. Only time will tell how durable the product is.

                best on the market
well like others have said it is extremely good product. But it still has room for improvement. 1. Could be a little more flexible 2. Could be offered in custom shapes as a special order of course. 3. joining pins could be improved by adding a medal bracket and screws of sorts so you won't get splits. 4. best way I've cut them so far is to use a chop saw even if you get that rubber smelling smoke. better than trying to hand saw it. The minimum I was able to use was 5 and still maintained a circle not all these weired angles recommended. With a little extra cost in medal brackets I was able to achieve that.

                  No more weed wacking!
The landscape edging was very easy to install. Used it on a straight landscape bed but would be very easy to use on anything curved. If you let the strips in the sun for a few minutes, they become even more bendable. The only concern I might have is in the winter time. The 12" long "nails" might heave. But 100% worth the few extra dollars!!! No more weed wacking!
