Wish I had bought it sooner! So easy to maintain temps. I'm new to smoking and was able cook some amazing pulled pork on my first try! 10 outta 10 would recommend.

This grill is amazing. It's sturdy, attractive, and heats up in a hurry. It grills with consistent heat at high or low temperatures. Whether you choose to quickly grill a few burgers or smoke something all day long, anything coming out of this Kamado Joe is delicious! I also love all the options, such as grilling pizzas or doing rotisserie chicken. I also believe this grill is built to last for many, many years! I look forward to experimenting more with it.

I like the grill. It was easy to put together. The grate is a little flimsy I wish it was stronger. only one grate included. I would like to have a diffuser included for smoking. We have only had it for a week but have already used it 5 times in 7 days. It was easy to get the temperature regulated. I am having a hard time finding a diffuser but hope to get one soon to make the experience even better!

Used it once. Has great control of temperature. Cooked 10lbs pork butt, for 11hrs at a steady 225deg with only one load of fuel. Amazingly efficient. Downside, when using the lava stone you can't replenish the fuel or even adjust the fuel without pulling the rack and stone out.

It is a good grill, but it could improve

Great Heavy Duty material and construction.. grills pretty efficient and holds heat well. Only downside, I received the product with one of the side wood tables came off and the top cast iron vent has a little bit of rust. Figured this was their store display and price was at the low side

This grill, smoker, is amazing! Made the best pulled pork I’ve ever had! Didn’t even need bbq sauce. It keeps its heat and is so fun to plan/ cook! I’m not going to want to eat out anymore!

Excellent grill. I love that it is a charcoal only grill and use it to smoke with as well. Worth every penny...this is my second one, other model has an bottle gas insert option...that one is great for cooking pizza without heating up charcoal.

Cap has a few leaks where air and smoke get through.

oh my this is the third time I have done wings. After about 45 minutes on 300 with just rub they are moist on the inside and crispy on the outside -soooooo good. This grill is so hands off. Fix a cocktail- let the grill do the job. Turn the wings once. Fabulous meal My pork shoulders also goes on all day and turn out unbelievably good. I received my grill as a gift. BEST gift EVER!!!!

Great kamado Grill. This is my 3rd Kamado Grill I've owned. First one a BGE we still have at a summer home and the second one a Vision Grill just like this one that was broken when a tree limb fell and crushed it. Dang!! I'm 64 years old and have been cooking and grilling most of my life and know a quality product when I see one and particularly use it. This is a Quality produce and you won't be disappointed if you make the purchase. Seems it should come with a cover and a heat diffuser plate though as most other brand grills do!! Other than that, I have not one single complaint. The grill is well constructed an finish is good as any brand out there. Takes very little lump charcoal to cook are slow smoke a full grill meaning both grates. Easy to regulate and maintain temperature. Yes, I would recommend this grill to anyone looking for a Great Kamado Grill Happy Grilling!!

Did quite a bit of looking to find the right grill for me. I was about to purchase a Weber when I saw this Vision Grill. I looked into it- videos, reviews, etc. and I really liked what I saw. I took the plunge and had it delivered. It came well packaged. Be forwarned on how heavy it is! Easy to assemble too, good instructions (basically match numbered tags). I managed to put the grill on the cart by myself- although not recommended because of its size and weight. I encourage you to watch a Youtube video on assembly- it will really help! Grilling: wow- food came out amazing. I use the stone as a deflector- also recommend it. Experiment with it and enjoy!

Easy to assemble and grills food to perfection!

Buying this is a no brainer upgrade from the Chargriller Kamado. Believe it or not but the Chargriller Kamado cast iron grilling grid fits absolutely perfectly like it was made for this unit. (Better grate than the BGE) On the one I got and the store display units there were no manufacturing defects unlike early versions. No chips in my glaze. The tables and handle need some extra marine polyurethane, but at half the price of a BGE I picked up a spray can. A "Camp Chef True Seasoned 14-Inch Cast Iron Pizza Pan" makes a perfect deflector at +/-20 bucks. Add a "woo ring" (no handles) to hold it and you are set. (No breakage risk and elevates the grilling surface for much better access) Find a skinny (width of your pinky length) SS spatula at a thrift and bend the last inch or to at 45 degrees down and a perfect ash rake (As good as any of the ones sold). Throw the woo ring on the grate and throw a pizza stone on top for an elevated over the felt pizza setup. Add an Auber Instuments $145 controller and it is set it and forget it for you get to sleep overnight smokes (Run autotune to set it up or it oscillates the temp). Lift the charcoal plate about 1/4 to a 1/2 inch with bolts laid on their sides in the bottom of the firebox to improve the draft (Outer holes are blocked stock). Also, forget the looflighter and if you want get a under $20 1200F heat gun or propane torch to light the thing without starter cubes. (the heat gun outperforms the $70 looflighter and is designed for continuous operation- see the youtube side by side comparison) As a crazy bonus the thermometer in mine is spot on for grate temps based on the mavric and igrills I have. (Must haves: Pizza pan & woo ring & 4 bolts for the grate) There is a learning curve for smoking from the Chargriller but it boils down to pile up the charcoal and light one place in the middle with top and bottom wide open and then 70 degrees or so before you hit target choke it down and let it settle for 1/2 an hour at target to let the ceramic heat soak before you throw on the meat. The only reason I withheld a star is I didn't get to buy this thing on fall clearance. (Update: The charcoal grid from the bottom of the Acorn also fits and although not as durable as the Vision plate it allows the grill to breathe better. Gets up to heat quicker and less risk of ash or small lump clogging holes)

Great grill @ a great price ..

This kamado grill was hundreds cheaper than the big green egg. I have never used the big green egg and I’m sure it’s a fine grill but this Vision grill is just great and I can’t imagine the BGE being better. This is a quality product which will last for years. Love my new grill!

Awesome Grill!!!!!

I was upset because I saw the grill advertised online for $499 and I drove 1 hr to pick it up at a location in Pa ( I live in NJ) When I got there the grill was priced at $599 so one of the managers split the difference and I paid $549. I should have paid the advertised price of $499.
