I love the look and the functionality of this range hood. It’s beautiful and really compliments my kitchen design. The lights are nice and bright but not that awful blue/white color. The fan is powerful and quickly sucks up any smoke. My only issue is the beep that it makes when you push any of the buttons. If someone would have mentioned how awful it was in a previous review I definitely would have bought something else. It sounds like the chirp that smoke detectors make when the batteries need to be replaced. Any time I hit a button on it, it causes my dog to violently shake and spend the next few hours in a state of terrified anxiety. There’s nothing in the manual about turning it off and goggle searching brings back no results. I’m a bit at my wits ends here as I’d obviously like to use my range hood but also don’t want to cause my dog unnecessary terror.

Easy Assembly, excellent hood range

Easy to install because I did it as part of a kitchen remodel. Ran a 6 inch double wall metal vent pipe to the outside and it’s very effective

Fan is noisy, warranty is only one year limited. We took it back and bought a Zline brand instead. Quieter and has a lifetime warranty on the motor, 3 year everything else and about $100 more for similar model.

I purchased this product 2 days ago, paid to have it professionally installed, and it beeps uncontrollably and randomly. It will shut itself off, the control panel will not work sometimes, but the constant beeping is beyond annoying. When I called Home Depot for technical troubleshooting, they were condescending and suggested it was a problem as explained in the troubleshooting guide related to the timer (which it isn’t). When I asked to speak with someone with Vissani technical expertise, they said it is a “Direct Import” product, so they do not have anyone with product expertise who can help. BUYER BEWARE with this model!!!!

The LED lights need to be daylight instead of soft light, due to the yellow tint. The daylight lights would be better for lighting. Otherwise the product is really good so far.

Easy to put together, works great, good suction, just what I was looking for. I love it.

This is a decent product. Very well packaged, although the vent shroud extension had a small scratch, which was obviously done in the factory and not in shipping. Three fan speeds are plenty, and the unit moves air efficiently. The LED lights could be brighter. It's kinda funny how the directions made no mention of actually attaching the unit to the supports, or to plugging in the electrical cord. The flexible 6 inch duct section is very handy, although I would bet the fan noise level would be less if the unit was connected using rigid duct work. I do not like the beeping sound every time a button is pressed; it's very obnoxious and had I known about the beeping, I would not have bought this unit.

Vissani has a great product in their 36-inch Convertible Glass Island Mount Range Hood with Dual-Sided Touch Panels and Charcoal Filters in Stainless Steel. Everything you need is in the box, aside from any additional duct work to the exterior of your house, but this can also be non-ducted. The packaging stood up to our local delivery shenanigans, with the glass intact and no dents in the steel. The steel is quality 430 stainless and the glass is tempered. The high flow motor (425 CFM) will take care of removing cooking odors or steam and smoke without any trouble, and the dishwasher-safe stainless filters make maintenance a breeze. The fan is relatively quiet even at high speed, so the days of not being able to hold a conversation while airing out the kitchen are a thing of the past.

My new Vissani 36 inch Convertable Glass Island range hood just made my recent aquisition of new cook top. The match is made. This hood is 36 inches wide, unlike the previous 20. This hood has all the modern technologies, and is double sided as well. The 425 CFM air flow is great. Ths fan is Shhh quiet, old one, couldn't watch TV or hear people talk. The vent can be used as a vent to recirculate or vent it outside. I can wash the filter in the dishwasher, that is super!! And it was reccomended that I wash them before I use them, so no particles, if any fall into the soup. The "Blower" really sucks the steam and grease right out of the kitchen, not sure where it goes but it is not here. The width is standerd 36 inch, but the depth covers more of the cook-top, almost all four burners. The stainless steel finish makes it real easy to keep clean, a quick spritz of stainless steel cleaner and polish makes it look like new. This hood was easy to install, no touch up needed from the old one, it is hard-wired, so it was easy. It is 120 volts, and the wires matched up with the old one.

The best glass island mount range hood we have ever had. The shipping was very prompt and the packaging excellent. All hardware for the installation was included. The installer had to do some preparation work in order to install the hood. Once the preparation was done, the installation was very straight forward, without any problems whatsoever. The hood looks very beautiful and modern, like piece of art. I could say a lot of great things about this hood, but want to mention most important things. The hood made out of premium 430 stainless steel. It has tempered glass with control on both sides and LED displays. The hood has 3 speed levels fan, which is very important in the kitchen and the fan is very quiet, almost too quiet. It also has a very powerful suction with 425 CFM air flow rate, so all smells are completely disappear. The stainless steel baffle filters are dishwasher safe, so you do not need to hand wash them. We are very, very happy with this hood and would recommend it to everyone.
