No suction on the left side
The left side does not pass the tissue test at all. There is no suction on that side.
The manufacturer might reply with this centrifugal fans answer, but that design is irrelevant to the fact that the left side does not work.
The product is highly deceiving since it looks like it should work given the filter but that's not the case.

It’s powerful 320 cfm centrifugal fan has to be off set to one side in order to exhaust the air in the center. The incorrect duct size or the damper not corrected installed could impede the air flow suction. In your case we would like to get more information so can diagnose the issue. Finish failed after 2 years.
Black stainless cracking and peeling. Response from the manufacturer: We do not have a suitable solution for you. You could try to re-paint it, however, when we apply the paint to the hood it is baked on and I don't see a way that you could duplicate it. Some customers who don't mind the stainless steel look will strip the paint from the hood being careful not to scratch the steel and reported good results.
Neither of these are very good solutions I know. It's all we have at the moment.

Nice vent, difficult to mount- strips screws
Mounting hardware is terribly designed. There are two small pegs that hold up the front and two screws in the back.
Turned the vent on level 3, and the vibrations shook it off the wall and the back screws both stripped out.
Otherwise the vent fan is pretty good, not super loud.

Cabinet range hood. Is ver nice. Overall I am very satisfied with the product. The only thing that concerns me is that IT GETS VERY HOT. So I’m not sure if that because it’s steel. BUT I REALLY LOVE. THANK YOU

Fastening Keyhole, blocked
The left side keyhole for the fastening screw is covered by an internal part (engineering flop?).
I had t o drill the metal part in order to access the keyhole and fasten the unit.

The keyhole mounting slots are pre-drilled to hold the screw in place before screwing all the way in to the cabinet. If you had one that wasn't pre-drilled, we apologize. We have not come across this previously.

One of the nicer choices
Gutted and completely remodeled kitchen with all new appliances. Replaced microwave with this hood. Push buttons work well. Fit and finish and design we're all very important. Very straightforward install. Sturdy. Simple design. High quality mfr. Would definitely choose again. Installed myself using included instructions.

Buttons are crap
The light and vent button’s stopped working properly after a couple months. The light won’t stay on without holding the button down. A few months later all buttons are pushed in. Trash product. Will never by this brand again.

All or nothin'
For the money, this is a decent, good-looking range hood probably most suited for rental houses. The grease filters were pretty light and thin, and I mistook the carbon filter for a black Kleenex. The installation went well with the help of the app they recommended: "BILT." The fan is loud at all three settings--in fact, I can't tell much of a difference between them--and the bright LED lights don't dim.

To meet the targeted price point (low to mid range) we can only include so much before it pushes the unit into a higher price and some things are not available in this hood such as dimmers, timers, digital display, remote control... etc. They are available in our other units.

Broken Buttons
Had little over a year.. Buttons pushed in and nothing works. Can’t get the buttons to pop back out. Don’t buy…. Piece of crap!!

I put this in my kitchen remodel and then wrapped...
I put this in my kitchen remodel and then wrapped the top half in a cedar box vented it through the side of my wall and it works amazingly! First exterior fan that I've installed myself with three settings. You can really pull air out.

Bad and wouldn’t recommend
I bought this in December 2021, but didn’t use it until August 2022. After 1 month of using this the part hold the control we broke.

Push button Switches
I would look at how the hood is Assembled because it took 2 hours to Take down the Hood because there was 10 screws holding the Fan shroud on that had to come off to access the Screws !

Intentionally deceptive design
Only one of the filter screens is actually doing anything. The other just sits flush against sheet metal.

Thank you for your feedback. Please allow us this opportunity to address your concerns. If you are referring to the offset fan, that is required in order to utilize a centrifugal fan configuration to maximize effective airflow. Unlike axial fans commonly used in low airflow range hoods, centrifugal fans are designed for high airflow, ducted applications where the exhausted air has to overcome the resistance generated by the ductwork. The screens sit close but not flush against the grease shield and has room to circulate the air towards the fan as the flow follows the negative pressure up into the fan.

Really Good-looking Hood
I installed this range hood this week in a non-vented configuration. It's great looking, has excellent light, and removed smoke from our new oven (surprising for a non-vented unit). It is not "super quiet", at least for an internally vented hookup. The low setting on the fan has a very similar noise level and air flow to the medium and high. It's a low pitch, rather than the screaming hum my old one had, so not as annoying. Comes with lots of hardware options.

Great design, but...
Looks great, but doesn't suck steam very well, and the indoor ventilation blows the exhaust directly in the cook's face instead of above one's head (and I'm not even tall). I also disagree about this hood being "ultra quiet". Overall OK, but can't recommend it.

switch panel problem
I read the reviews and was impressed. I bought this range hood in May 2021. Easy to install, worked well for 5 months. By mid of 5th month, the switch panel got pushed inside. I'm not able to bring it back to it's original place. I would not recommend this product.

light and fan buttons are loose
Installed less than a year and the buttons are now lost in la la land. The light or fan will not stay on when pushed. The buttons are all loose and have collapsed inside the vent. The spring has disconnected from the push button and is sunken.

The unit is sturdy and simple to install. My wife likes the 2 bright LED lights and quiet fan. The controls are conveniently located on the front of the unit. There is an on/off button for the lights and 4 buttons for the fan: High, Medium, Low and Off.

not great for re-circulating
The pros: looks good,powerful fan, bright light, vented or re-circulate, easy 1 person install. The cons: loud fan, re-circulating vent is placed on cabinet above, doesn't catch steam of boiling water on front burner- it steams front of the hood & ceiling

I love this hood. Works great.
I am a 50 year old woman installing a hood for the first time. Lining up the holes to the screws was challenging but after a couple breaks. It was on. I do reccomend unscrewing off the inside cover to tighten the screws on one side. I also put a screw in the middle fastner for extra tightness. You can see the other side yet once you fasten the unseen side in its fairly easy. Now waiting for my oven delivery.

Doesn't last a year
Less than a year from installation the light won't stay on. The one fear I had when I bought this was that the push buttons were weak. Yep the light switch used about twice a day won't click in to keep the light on. I currently use a magnet to hold down the button to keep the light on. If you can't turn on the light it is a nice looking piece of trash so I can't even give 2 stars.
