I don't know yet, I haven't installed it. I do know that I was excited to see that it could be mounted either way, however, only one piece of hardware was attached, so I had to remove all hardware and place it on the other ends of 9 brackets.

I did not like the way they mounted to the...
I did not like the way they mounted to the wall. I had to drill holes in them and run screws through the holes to get them sturdy enough to hold the self.
