it was easy to install, works great!

Yes this item worked to replace my existing hydrant that had froze and cracked last winter when I left the water on during a sudden freeze that we experienced last year. I was a lot cheaper solution and less time consuming than digging up the and replacing the whole hydrant.

Was easy to install.

I purchased this item to replace one that had frozen and split the casted head. How did a frost proof hydrant freeze, well by leaving a hose connected to it in sub freezing weather. This is cheaper and easier to repair, no digging, just disassemble and screw off old head and replace with the new one. Plus you will have some extra parts if needed later.

The day I bought it I thought it was going to be a great hydrant when I received the hydrant I went to install it and the plunger broke when I pulled up on the handle it's a brass fitting so it couldn't be fixed and it was made in China not usa if it was made in America it would not been cheaply-mad

The hydrant came in quickly, and was exactly as advertised. It was easy to install, and worked perfectly the first time!

Didn't fit our water hydrant that we had ,we took our old one in but got the wrong one in return. Hopefully we can get our money back.

Worked well as a replacement

Good product, required slight modification as shaft different size from the one it was replacing.

This product was advertised to replace any blue hydrant head assembly. That is simply not true. The diameter of the clevis rod on the new replacement head was not the same as the old blue hydrant head, so the threads would not engage with the old plunger rod. In other words, this hydrant head is not compatible with the blue head on my standpipe. If you buy this product, make sure it will do what it is advertised to do. Otherwise, you will have a lot of work to do for no reason.

It was well made however the description said it would fit all blue hydrants but it would not fit mine the actuating rod was the wrong size.

Awesome quick replacement for old worn heads............

This product was purchased because we were unable to find the part needed to fix the problem. A simple lock screw should be available to purchase for repairs, saving the cost of the entire piece. No store carried this product, we were unable to find anything for outdoor faucets like this in ANY store, let alone anyone who knew what we were looking for. No one knew what this type of faucet was or that it even existed. I find that surprising, they have been around a LONG time. Not satisfied with the hoops we had to jump through to get our faucet fixed.

only place I could find a replacement head that fit my pump without having to dig 5 ft down to replace everything....
