Installed the recirculating system 7 years ago...keeps the water lines from freezing without wasting any water, and gives hot water instantly in the bathroom that is furthest away from the hot water tank.

Been installed for 1.5 years and the sensor valve failed. Cheapest replacement ive found is $60. Out if warranty. Liked it when it was working but I’ll remove it if the sensor valave fauls again. I cannot recommend this product because of the expense and longevity issue.

This the third sensor valve in our home. Other two deliver approximate heat level to faucet. The Watts version is tepid at best. No clogs and water lines are similar in length.

I was tired of wasting water waiting for hot. I installed the Watts recirculating pump at the water heater. Installed spring loaded check valves on hot and cold lines at the water heater and also installed a expansion tank. Installed Sensor Valves under two bathroom sinks. What a difference. Now I wait a few seconds for hot water instead of minutes.

The sensor valve kits worked great and we now have 16 showers and sinks with almost instant hot water and not wasting water down the drain waiting for it to warm up. An efficient way to solve a big problem. I will be buying more of the valve kits and including them into our future new buildings. Thanks again.......Blessings

Purchased the pump and valve kit and an extra sensor valve. Installation was quite easy and the system worked as advertised for 3 days. Then all of a sudden we had no water at the hot side of kitchen faucet. I bypassed the sensor and the faucet worked so went to return the sensor and exchange for a new one. Installed and had same problem….no water on hot side of faucet. My local store was out so had to make a 1.5 hour round trip to another store to get yet another sensor. This one worked and the system is back up and running. No idea how long it will last. The pump and 2 sensors is kind of a big investment and while it is working now, I worry how long this one will last.

Well I’m in over $400 now on this entire set up Added the extra valves after calling the support folks .. who offer little I think any water heater built in the last 20 years have the check valves that are to much for the little pump.. and any more pump pressure would probably blow off a line.. so.. it can’t do circulation .. Very disappointed Can’t blame HD .. after all the install cost not worth taking back... so I cut my losses Not recommended

Definitely improved and lessened getting hot water to the furthest sections of my home.

The Watts pump is an excellent product. It was installed by a contractor; however, it would be an easy installation for anyone with a modicum of experience with plumbing and the correct tools. In new construction, these systems use a dedicated return line. In retrofits, the cold water line is used as the return. This means that when you turn on a cold water tap, there is a delay before the water is really cold as the hot water must first be pushed out of the line. It is akin to the delay in getting hot water when there is no recirculating system. I had one unusual problem with the installation. The manifold is installed at the faucet furthest from the water heater. This allows the circulating water to reach all the faucets. However, in our house, the water system was not a loop and was, instead, "Tee'd". to different sides of the house. This required me to add a 2nd manifold, available from HD, at the last faucet at the end of the 2nd "Tee'd" line.

We have a large ranch with a home-run water supply split across two manifolds. Getting hot water to the kitchen sink would take at least 90 seconds. Now, it takes 3 seconds. We love it.

Performs as advertised and easy to install. Bought extra valve for kitchen now hot water almost instantly. Unknown about increase in gas/elect cost but not wasting water and time.

Fairly easy to install, but now when the recirculation system isn't on, I have knocking in my line, not sure how to solve that problem
