where is the leak? if between the threads of connector to HWH male, then verify you used plumbers tape (Teflon) to seal the threads before installing the connector. Using bare will leak. If the leak is on the hose, I can guess it may be the crimped area of the hose female connector (assuming you're using a female-female ended hose). This is not a quality product I've found to my disappointment 2x now!

I recently used this product to connect an auxiliary hose bib on the side of my house where there was not one before. It worked perfectly and gave me a little bit of flex so I wouldn't put undue stress on my pvc pipe

We purchased these lines to connect to our new Rheem 40 gallon water heater. The lines connected to the water heater's dielectric nipples without any problems, and when tightened properly did not leak when the water started flowing. Although these come with rubber washers to seal against the male connection ends, I had one problem, with one end at my water supply point where I had to use some tape to stop a small drip at the connection point. Overall, good heater supply lines that flex just enough to be solid, yet easy to install.

Makes water heater install so much easier. Cut time of install and I'm pretty sure a extra trip back to store for something else. Insulating a little more challenging do to OD of pipe but we'll worth the trade off.
