Amazing product! Highly satisfied.

I spent a few thousand on this railing system and I like it. My issue is every piece of railing came out of the box with multiple scratches(surface and deep) Weatherables needs to invest more time in securely packaging the railing. I’ve had $10 items packaged more securely. I wouldn’t consider this railing system to be cheap by any means. It doesn’t take much to secure the railing in a wrap and/or styrofoam of some sort to prevent this. I will say Weatherables customer service was very responsive when my stair railing section arrived damaged.

These railings are awesome! They are extremely strong, and look fantastic. I am ecstatic with my purchase.

We really love the overall look. The kits had everything we needed. We had significant difficulty with the top bracket covers snapping into place. Our railings were connected to porch posts. Some still required extra screws to hold together.

Was an easy install & they arrived quickly. Double check your measurements and use a couple 2x4s nailed to steps to set the rail on, mark with a pencil and screw it all together. Looks good. I cut mine using a Miter Saw with course teeth with no problem. You will be cutting through PVC & Aluminum.

Best product on the market, very easy to work with and very steady

Well made handrail that is sturdy and looks high end. Installation was not overly hard but I have a moderate amount of experience with these types of rails which helps. There is a small learning curve when cutting to size and lining up top and lower rail to maintain plumb balusters.I found the easiest method was to place both top and bottom rail on deck between opening and mark for cut. This way you can balance the space from beginning baluster to last. Within the mounting bracket system you do have a little wiggle room to adjust and plumb. Mounting system is easy and sturdy.The aluminum support within the vinyl rails is substantial and very strong to prevent rail sag. The caps that hide mounting brackets require a little work but when complete look good.Overall a great product that is sturdy and looks stylish.

Had to call manufacture to get some items that were wrong g and missing. Manufacture fixed everything promptly. Item looks sharp I stalled. I took off 1 star just because it did not arrive with all the correct pieces at first and the overall quality could be better in terms of making g it more heavy duty however as it is it is acceptable and it does look great.

Better quality that veranda but more money too. You get what you pay... Beautiful rails I say.. now hopefully they last Manny years

A High quality Product for a reasonable price. A well engineered product that goes together easily. A great upgrade for our porch/house. The product exceeded our expectations. The carpenter was suitable impressed also.

Excellent quality overall. I bought several of these railing kits for a new deck project and I am very impressed with the quality of everything. All of the materials, brackets, and hardware are sturdy and feel very well made. Once everything is installed it looks great and cleans easily. I only had a couple of concerns during the installation. 1) The balusters seemed to be different thicknesses from package to package. One rail section would have balusters that fit easily into the pre-drilled holes on each rail, and the next package they would be nearly impossible to force in. 2) The trim pieces that fit over the mounting brackets do not align consistently. Some sections they will snap together perfect, and other sections there would be a small gap that could not be adjusted. Other than those concerns, I am very happy with the product, and it's a fantastic value for the price. I would definitely recommend!

Mike, Waldorf, Md Bought and installed this railing last fall and waited to see how things weathered before giving a opinion. Today, the snow is falling on the railing and still looks great. I put up around 6 eight foot sections and a stair section that was purchased from Home Depot. The Depot does not have any show sales to see or touch, so it is a great leap of faith to buy this product sight unseen. Had some problems with the ordering staff at Home Depot who did not know much about this product. After contacting the Weatherables staff they helped me straighten the shipping problems and product concerns. By the way, there messenger contact service was the best I ever worked with. This was a real pleasure. Really... Good Job Weatherables. Installation was not bad after you got into it. Just make sure the black end caps up all the way and touching the bottom of the rails so the covers go on as intended. The wife if happy and all is well. And a got rid of the that old wooden stuff that was there for 20 years. I'm glad I did it.

I choose to use this as accent fencing along each side of the driveway. I used the 36" by 96" and identical style of the 36" by 72". I cut both fence sections in half creating two 4 foot and two 3 foot sections. I then installed one 3 foot and one 4 foot section on each side of the driveway, Cutting them was very accurate and easy on a cut off saw. I cut the vinyl portion and steel insert separately to avoid heating the vinyl as I cut through the steel. I used 8 foot long 4x4 treated posts and installed and leveled them in concrete. I trimmed the top portions of the posts easily with a reciprocating saw. When the posts were all set, it was easy to install the fence rails and spindles. I love the contrasts of the white rail and black spindles. I especially enjoyed the comments of people walking past the house. It added a nice touch to an otherwise open area. I look forward to using the same fencing for our deck in the future to replace a boring wooden look with a fresh new appeal that is much more stylish!

This is a Nice sturdy railing that looks great,it is vinyl and aluminium and it should hold up for years. The directions are not the easiest to follow and fail to address how to anchor the rail so I ended up taking it apart for a redo.I just thought it came with anchors to bolt it to the deck but no you have to slip it over 4x4s then attach it to the 4x4s with the screws.It doesn't mention it in the directions. Once I figured that out it was easy to install and looks great.It is very sturdy and I am real happy with it.

Wish I had seen these when I was converting two decks to screened porches. Would have saved time and probably money. My application is on a brick landing off one of those screened porches. The fact that the materials are vinyl and aluminum is perfect since my porch posts and trim are all PVC and my existing pickets on railings are aluminum like the ones in this railing. The inner aluminum H-beam is an important part of the rails since it makes the rails stiffer as well as providing something for the ends of the pickets to align against. It cuts easily with a miter saw but be careful when cutting and be sure to wear safety glasses. Cut slowly. All parts fit together simply with the use of self-tapping screws and I didn't have a need for pre-drilling. My big issue was how to firmly support the end posts that I got to complete the job (see pictures). Finding a post bracket that prevented the unsupported top of the 4x4 treated post from swaying was my issue. Years ago saw a vinyl post sleeve with an internal metal post and special base but it was quite expensive. I did not see a similar item from this manufacturer. The problem with using something like a standard 4x4 four-sided base is that there is not enough room for the sleeve to slip over the 4x4. Even with the 2-sided bracket I used I had to cut away some material on two sides at the base in order to accommodate the sleeve. But aside, from these specific application issues, I like the quality of the various pieces, the clear instructions and the fit of each item. I think the finished product is quite attractive as well as adding safety to the area where it is installed. My pictures only show one side installed since I am waiting for another set of brackets to complete the other side. I cut one long 96 inch railing set in two in order to make two railing sections that are about 43" long each and that is why I needed more brackets. Take your time with the layout and location of brackets and I recommend a padded 6" clamp to hold your brackets to your post sleeves while inserting the screws. (Wish I had taken a picture of that as well.) Yes, I would recommend this product for low/no maintenance installations. Maybe the manufacturer will comment about an appropriate post base for masonry installations. I will update this review if I come up with a better solution.

We have a 60'x12' deck along the rear of our home that was in serious need of a facelift. A complete redo was going to cost around 15k (with composite materials), so I started exploring other options. Found these rail kits and read the reviews and ordered them. A customer service rep called me prior to shipping and asked me if I actually needed the bracket kits I had added to the order since they were included in each rail kit. I didn't need them, so he took them off the order which saved me the hassle of eventually returning them once I figured out my mistake. Just as other reviews say, once you get one or two rails under your belt you will roll right along. The trickiest area I encountered was with the angled areas of my deck, but that was mostly due to questionable deck construction and a few warped/twisted posts. I used a mitre saw to cut the rails to length and due to it being a 7" blade I actually had to cut the top rail from the bottom then flip it over and cut from the top in order to get all the way through. They have an aluminum interior rail which provides rigidity as well as gives the self tapping screws something to bite into. Overall, the project went smoothly and I'm satisfied with the end result. Side note: the local Home Depot had pre-cut 4" wide x 39"long vinyl sleeves in the store, so I actually purchased the post sleeves there because it saved me the hassle of cutting them myself.

Once you get the first section up, installing this product is a breeze. I was able to do my whole deck in a day by myself. I am an intermediate DIYer but I think any level can handle this project. Make sure you get yourself a chop saw and a nice Carbide tipped finishing blade. The rest is measuring and screwing it together. If you are making custom cuts, make sure you buy extra brackets. For every cut section, you will need a set of brackets. Mike from USA Vinyl (via Home Depot) was outstanding to work with. He answered all my questions and concerns both prior to purchase and during the install process. He pointed out some of the things I was missing (brackets) and helped me order all the right product.

I purchased this fencing kit to replace the old railing on my deck. It was a do it yourself project and I can't say enough about how pleased I am with this product. It was shipped to my home within days of my ordering it. It is extremely sturdy and east to install once you get the hang of it and as you can see from the photos, it is beautiful. I contacted USA Vinyl the manufacturer several times and they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I spoke with Mike and he was a great guy to deal with, absolutely great customer service. There are no CONS for this product.

It’s a great product but packaging needs to be better It gets marked up a good bit during shipping or from the factory Unsure of that
