Product Overview
The Weatherables Railing Post Sleeve Kit is made from the highest quality, most durable vinyl on the market. To install, simply slide the post sleeve over your existing treated 4 in. x 4 in. post. The kit comes complete with the necessary post cap and base trim. Be sure to slide the skirt over the post sleeve before installing your railing. The Weatherables Post Sleeve Kit is intended for use with Weatherables 42 in. high Bellaire, Vilano, Delray, Walton, Hallandale or Vanderbilt vinyl railing but will work with many other vinyl railing systems.

Great look
I chose this post sleeve to cover the posts on our front porch so that the railing would be all white. I love the white look and have been holding off painting our wood because of the continued maintenance that it will be.
This sleeve is 44" tall however it is only 4" wide so unfortunately it is too small to use on our porch posts. However that being said it is a great heavy duty plastic, and comes with a foot and a cap. I'm sure I can find a use for it somewhere else and I will keep my eyes out for a sleeve that can fit a wider post! So my biggest recommendation is to pay attention to the measurements of the post you are trying to cover!

We've been building a deck. We live in the desert and the sun dries the wood out and maintenance extreme. The sleeves take care of that. We have a nice finished, maintenance free post.

Quality of material is good and all parts included for install. I even appreciate the fact the Mfg. identified an error in my order as I ordered brackets that I didn't need -they came in the fence kit. For the price, it's a great value. Fence looks great
