Installation was not difficult and it looks really nice. My only complaint was that I was mounting on pressure treated 4x4 posts and the screws for attaching the mounting plates were the self tapping kind so I pre-drilled and had to be careful not to make the hole too large. Would have preferred tp use painted wood screws.

Does exactly what we wanted it for; attractive.

Created a very safe and finished look on my outdoor stairway. Sturdy too.

Great product and easy to install.

This railing was very easy to assemble and looks great. As a DIY person, the installation would have been easier if I had ordered the longer posts and shortened them if needed. The post caps should be redesigned to fit the posts better. They are slightly oversized and had to be glued into place to keep the slightest touch from moving them off the post. Liquid Nails works well to attach them and I hope not to need to remove them. Shipping boxes were well designed to keep the parts well protected during shipping. I would do it again on my next deck and show them off to all visitors.

The Weatherable aluminum railing system was easy to assemble, and resulted in two sound, great looking railings on a concrete and a wooden staircase. Standard 38 inch posts were too short for 3 of 4 posts on my staircases. For a few bucks more the 44 inch kits are easily cut to suit.

I purchased the 6' and 8' wide kits - very happy with the quality of the product. The textured black powder coated paint is really high end. Exceeds my expectations.

Spindles rattle when holding on to top rail as you ascend or descend steps.

A little on the expensive side (24x16 deck) cost about 3500 for all of the materials including 2 sets of stairs, but worth every penny. They look great and are extremely sturdy.

Had this put in by a friend, did not take him long.

Was installed for me and very happy with result

This was perfect. My steps have been covered with decorative stone, so I wanted something that would provide support for people walking up and down the steps. This was attached to my concrete porch at the top, then my concrete walkway below the steps. It is sturdy and looks very nice!

We had to cut ours down to fit our porch steps. Because of our application (replacing an existing wooden railing) we had to change the installation order. But we got it installed, it is sturdy, and attractive. Just don't take a level to our balusters -- they are visually (if not technically) perpendicular and that is what counts.
