Quick and easy to install. Looks good.

These stair rails were the last pieces we needed to the completely remodeled deck at our cabin. They are a slightly different style than the deck rails (which are just standard rails mounted between the deck and the 2" x 6" top rail), our grandchildren find them easy to use as they go up and down the stairs. As you will see, they were mounted to the 4" x 4" wooden posts, and worked perfectly. The attached photos were taken just before my husband made the concrete landings at the bottom of each set of stairs.

Lets start with the bad part, in spite being very simple to assembly, installing it could be some how dificult, depending in the setup. In my case, using an existing column and installing a post, makes me to unistall the post in order to set it up. Because screws for the rail in the post have to be pre-dill and the brakets installed previouslly. Besides that, everything else is great. Quality and finish of the aluminun perfect. The plastic brackets in the Miami wheater lets see in the future. I use a long stair railing for the straight part. Some black silicon will make sturdy the set up of the pickets. Find the pictures.

Installation went perfectly. Nice sturdy rail for entrance steps to house.

Need to put universal fittings in the kit for all steps

The only problem we had with this kit was it called for 3/8 " screws to secure bottom of posts to cement. We went and bought 8 3/8" screws and got them home to find out the holes were NOT 3/8. We had to buy a drill bit and enlarge the holes. This took a little time but finally got it up. For us not an easy install but may be for others. Looks nice. Thought it was a bit spendy compared to others.

I'd probably rated this a five except for the small screws. About 1 of 3 of them snapped off at the screw head when they were being screwed in. Which means that they cannot be pulled out or re-tightened. Come on folks! You can use a better quality screw than these.
