These definitely get the job done and look as pictured. What I don't love about these is the speed selector is not distinct enough and if it is in between settings, it turns off the fan.

Easy to control the ceiling fan with 4 different speeds.

The wall switch was easy to install and worked perfectly to allow our ceiling fan to run at a slower speed

I got the fan but the controller is way to big and too much noise. This model - it is quiet and it is installed in the wall - as regular switcher.

Seems to be working well. Optimally, it could have been a bit more heavily constructed, but for the inexpensive price, that perhaps would be asking too much. Presently working well...

Wpdated my room with this wall switch.

I purchased this to replace the Ceiling Fan Wall Switch that came with my Hampton Bay 60” Industrial Fan — which I felt was backwards. “1” (the first click from “off”) was the fastest setting, while “4” was the slowest. This Westinghouse controller was identical. In fact, it’s obvious it is the same unit, but just branded differently. In addition, this unit sparks/arcs excessively.

Easy to install (I did it myself!), and works great. Swapped out a Lutron ON/OFF wall switch for this one.

This is really a low quality item. I should have expected that for $14. The switch is shoddy and doe’s not slip readily into the numbered positions to engage the fan speeds. The switch is light weight and loose/wiggles around. I would absolutely not recomend this.

purchased to replace a different manuf. four speed switch that went bad and #1 is high but #2 thru #4 are all low speed unlike the others in the barn that have a high, medium high, medium low and low. purchased two so i had one for a spare that i will be returning.

They work, but the lowest numbered setting is the highest!
