Safety and Quality Concerns
This oven is not safe. While cooking a simple family dinner at 450F the glass in the door nearest the food shattered while the oven was cooling. My family was sitting at the dining table about 10 feet away when hot glass was sprayed around our kitchen. I would not trust this oven again. We were using the oven as intended and it should be able to withstand the temperature we were using. It should be noted our oven was less than 2 years old and no prior issues were noticed with the glass in the door. This is a major safety fail As far as quality concerns our oven was consistently 25F lower than the oven stated. We measured with a few separate thermometers and this temperature differential led to food being undercooked.

    Love the features!

When we remodeled our kitchen and got all new appliances, we decided to go with a Whirlpool wall oven and Whirlpool microwave. Because all 3 appliances are grouped together we wanted them to match. The wall oven took me awhile to get used to, only because I had been using my 35 year old oven that had no modern features. But, once I got the hang of it I really like how they work. I did have to calibrate my oven temperature and am so glad that feature is also on this oven. We’ve had this oven since April and so far works like a charm. I’m also glad to be a part of the ‘modern era’ now with all of my new Whirlpool appliances.

            Single oven

              All I heard after installing this unit was "I love it!" and it came from the wife. As the saying...
              All I heard after installing this unit was "I love it!" and it came from the wife. As the saying goes - If she's happy so am I. This is a great oven unit and appears to be high in quality and craftsmanship. The install was very straight forward (Whirlpool has a fit guarantee backed by $300 reimbursement) and took less than an hour to remove the old unit and slide in this unit. While the old unit was also a 27 inch, this unit has substantially more interior room at 4.3 cubic feet. The very user friendly and intuitive controls/menus make operating this oven a breeze for even the most severely technologically challenged adult. It's WiFi equipped through a smartphone app that is also very straight forward and easy to navigate through the menus and features. The only issue for me was that I wish the power cord was 5' rather than 4' - it was a bit tight to the junction box. Overall, a feature packed product that looks fantastic and would be a great addition to any kitchen.

              Great features!!

                Won't connect to Wi-Fi
                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pleased with my new ovens. I have two. However, I can not get them programmed with my Internet. They will not connect. This is a big issue. There is nothing wrong with my Internet connectivity with any other devices in my home.

                  Gimpy Touchpad Issues
                  There is a problem with the touchpad when cooking anything that creates steam in the oven. When the door opens, the touchpad goes crazy. It asks you to re-enter a temperature or the timer acts as though you’re trying to set it for many hours. It’s difficult to get the touchpad working properly again even after shutting the door and wiping the steam from the touchpad face. Also, you have to hit the large X button to turn everything off multiple times before the oven actually resets and turns off.

                        Great Features!!!
                        [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rapid preheat is great when you want to quickly heat up lunch or you are running behind for dinner. Being able to see the actual temperature of the oven is handy. Takes a while to get used to how this oven cooks coming from a 40 year old oven that cooked evenly and quicker. Overall the features are great for the money.

                            ENJOYING MY NEW OVEN
                            [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s been almost a year since I purchased this oven, and so far, it’s been great! The controls are intuitive, and it looks wonderful in my kitchen. I was replacing a 30+ year old Whirlpool. The only thing I’d improve is the loudness of the alarms. Unless I’m sitting near the kitchen, I can’t hear them, and if the tv is too loud, I often miss the timer going off.

                              Whirlpool single wall oven
                              [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are no control panel instructions included with the oven and the ones online and with the app are minimal at best and do not include crucial information, like, #1: download app. Scanning QR code, as instructed, won’t work without the app. Have still not figured out how to turn off. Intuitive way would be to press Power button, but apparently, (after an hour of experimentation), the Power button needs to be pressed twice. Since this oven is usually sold in Big Box stores, there won’t be a salesperson who can explain the controls. Did find a YouTube explaining the process; it was from a customer, not Whirlpool. Hopefully, the oven works once I decipher the controls.

                                  The worse
                                  Tried different rack levels temperatures top or bottom will be too brown or burned and center is never done. Temperatures not consistent so disappointed in this product and Whirlpool.

                                    Do not purchase
                                    This was in our new build so we did not purchase on our own. Hands down worst appliance I’ve ever owned! We call it possessed. It doesn’t keep the correct time, shuts off at random when we open the door to check or turn food. Believe all the negative reviews and find something else!

                                      Whirlpool Smart Sing Wall Oven

                                        Turn oven to preheat come back and it’s off. Turn it back on it preheats then put food in come back it’s off. Everyday have to reset time and date. Touch screen works when it wants to. This oven has a mind of its own… do not purchase.

                                            Touch screen is worst design feature ever
                                            This oven came standard on the kitchen upgrade package for my modular home. When it breaks we will NOT be getting this model. As feared- the "cool" touch screen will die eventually and render the whole until garbage d/t cost of touchscreen. I have no need for presets for all the garbage frozen food they offer and buttons and dials work just fine and are less expensive to replace. The oven WILL NOT keep correct time. I have the wifi turned off and set the time, a few days later it is 4 minutes ahead of all other clocks. It is a large display in a prominent location so that is ANNOYING. But worst of all- any steam coming out when you open the oven door makes the touch screen go absolutely nuts. It will change temp, turn off, and heaven knows what else. Even when the screen is dry the touch function is very wonky. We often must squat down in front of the oven in order to get the angle of our touches just right in order to actually set the oven. It cooks food fine as long as it doesn't decide to turn itself off or change the temp. Also I agree that the timer tone is far too soft. I use a smart home device for timers, not this oven. Self clean seems to work well as does broiler. No broiler pan included. But the controls and clock on this thing make it an absolutely DO NOT PURCHASE.

                                              Difficult to navigate
                                              [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oven was chosen for us because we had a home warranty and the existing oven died. There was no instruction booklet. It is a wall oven and us inderneath a microwave. Since it is all digital, we have to lean down to read the messages. It is a bit confusing trying to figure out the simplest operations. There are few 27" oven left on the market so we are grateful to have it and it operates without problems once we get it going. Oh and no broiler pan either!

It was re-set , gained time again. Re-set EXACTLY and has gained almost a minute in the last 3-4 days. Will wait to see what Whirlpool says and May re-evaluate my stars.

                                                        Finicky touch pad
                                                        This oven looks nice and when it is on it works fairly well. Although there was a time when it shut off on it’s own in the middle of baking. The biggest problem is with the touchpad. It is finicky, you have to touch it multiple times to make it work correctly. And after a power outage, it has now locked up and will not unlock. The only suggestion Whirlpool has on their website is to reset the circuit breaker. That did nothing. After doing research the others have fixed it by buying a new touchpad. Finding the part has been challenging as well. You must pullout the oven and take off the control panel to find the correct part number. And then finding that part in stock online has been an issue. This oven was rarely used but I regretted purchasing it almost every time I turned it on. I wish I could turn it on right now but the touchpad is still locked… I’m still trying to find the correct part.
