It is so much like my old range which was a Whirlpool too and I had it for 22 yrs. before purchasing this one. I love the new technology and the smooth top cooktop and it has pretty much the same things my old one had but, better.

SO I had a kenmore for 17 years and worked great and the glass top was awesome. This unit looks great, works well, BUTTTTT the glass top scratches no matter what you do! I have followed the directions perfectly. If you move a pan 1/8 of an inch it scratches, tried brand new pots and pans, don't matter and moisture collects under the cooking surface as you cook and then stains the glass even if you wipe immediately after.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I am happy with the range. It looks nice and works well. The only thing I would mention is the bottom drawer (that holds your cooking ware) is uneven. It’s not too noticeable but the right side slides in further than the left side. I will actually pull the right side out a little to be even with the left side because the left side is even with the main oven door. It does look good with our black stainless steel refrigerator.

Better than your average Stainless Steel Range. Installation is easy and fast, if you do it yourself. You will need a power cord of course. The finish on this range has a resistance to fingerprints so it stays cleaner longer, and it does not need any special cleaning products like some other ranges. Just use a cooktop cleaner and a stainless steel cleaner and you will be fine. The stainless steel itself is on the control panel, the lower storage drawer and the oven door, which is much better that other ranges in the price-range. The rest of the unit is black. Overall, there is probably more black than stainless, but generally, the range is installed in between cabinets so you do not see the sides. The Whirlpool range also has extra features, similar to some other premium brands I have seen, such as dual radiant elements, keep-warm elements, etc. The performance of the range is great. This range has functions and features at a great price. I would call it a value product; rich features at an affordable price.

Great range with one minor criticism. This range looks great, works well, and the controls are generally very easy to understand and use. STOVETOP: The glass/ceramic stovetop (see picture 1) has 5 heating elements, all of which heat very quickly and cook evenly. The 5 elements include a melt element and 2 small elements in the rear, and 2 dual zone elements in the front (where you can use a small or large heating element). My minor criticism is with the stovetop controls (see picture 2). The rear controls are direct and logical—the further you turn counter-clockwise the hotter the elements get. The dual zone front burners controls are very different. For the large zone, you turn counter clockwise up to ½ the dial (to pointing down) to increase heat. For the small zone you turn clockwise, again up to ½ the dial, to increase the heat. Once you’re familiar with the controls, it’s not a big deal but it’s still confusing to a degree. Also, the markings on the control are needlessly quite tiny and hard to read. OVEN: The oven heats very quickly and the controls are digital and easy to understand and use (see picture 3). It’s also quite spacious with 2 racks (see picture 4). OVERALL: The stainless steel is quite attractive and doesn’t seem to show fingerprints. This is a great range, pretty good value, and I’d recommend it.

The 30 in. 5.3 cu. ft. Electric Range with Self-Cleaning Oven in Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel is such a fantastic oven/stove top set! The delivery team was right on time, took out our existing not-working oven and replaced it with this ~ such a seamless install and the delivery/install team was great! The stove top itself is so convenient for larger families/lots of cooking as it has 5 warmers - two with dual and even a smaller one just to keep items warm! The under drawer is spacious, but be sure you plan on installing up against a back wall because the back of the drawer is very low (things can fall out the back if not pushed flush against the wall)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just purchase our home and the Electric Range was provides by the contractor. My wife went to use the oven and was not able to move the racks into another position. The oven is not usable, reported to the contractor and they observed the same.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just had a week. So far so good. Hope I can clean the bottom of the oven without foil. Manual said not to do so. Also wondering about how easy the cooktop will be to clean. The last one we had, not Whirlpool was not so good.

I have had gas stoves my entire life so this is taking awhile to get use to. Oven temp is right on the money. Would still like to have a manual to pull out when needed instead of having to go on line to get it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One week before Christmas our older stove bake element "blew apart", taking the motherboard circuit board with it. As it was so close to the holidays having one delivered was out of the question so we went to Menards and brought one home and installed it ourselves. The older one had a lot more features compared to this one which we did not use. The simpler it is the better and that is how I would describe this range. It looks the same and does what we need it to do.

We've hardly used it but are looking forward to Thanksgiving dinner. Our old microwave was a black interior...so it was like putting your food in a hole.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The business bits of this mid-level range (burners and oven) are as expected and as good as advertised. The simplicity is just what we wanted. The only place it falls somewhat is the lower storage drawer; it's a little flimsy and not as large as the 35 year old model it replaced. (Kudos to the old Whirlpool; that's why we bought Whirlpool again!) The drawer handle would be better if the grip was downward facing rather upward facing...pulling the drawer out is a bit awkward. Otherwise, the burners and oven get hot very quickly, it cleans up nicely, and the stainless bits are fingerprint resistant. I would recommend this product to anyone, but since my recommendation also requires me to add a friend's name and email, I'm clicking the NO box. I'd rather not clutter up someone's email with this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this stove almost a month ago. So far I'm loving it. I love that the bigger burners are in the front and smaller ones are in the back. I also love that it has the warming burner in the center of the 2 back burners. They all cook very evenly. They heat really well and don't have to cook with them being turned up much at all. The oven cooks very well and much better than my older stove. I love all the features, size, and color. I highly recommend this stove.
