I found this rod easy to put together and install. As a 73 year old widow, I do not have an extra set of hands, however, I did not need those. I followed the directions as written and it went up very easily.

My husband bought this shower rod for our hall bath. Even though it looks very nice, it is not sturdy at all. We have a 16 yr old and 14 yr old and the rod moves after every shower. I now have marks on my wall from where I have had to put the rod back up. If you are putting it in a bath that is not used much such as a guest bath, then it will be great - as I mentioned it is very pretty in the bathroom. I just do not recommend it in a bath with a lot of use.

This gives that little extra room that makes all the difference in the world to those with wide shoulders. Easy install even though I installed it upside down at first. ( didn't want to see the holes so I put them to ceiling, well rings don't slide when the little locking post is there) Having an extra set of hands to hold it even is most helpful. Great product so far.

I haven't installed this rod yet.
I went ahead & bought it bc of the low price.
I am in the middle of some remodeling.
I will be installing the shower rod after I replace the tile-board around the tub.
