I used this on masonry walls in basement. It brightened up my basement and I am told it is good protection for the masonry. It is very thick, so to stir well it helps to get a stir paddle that attaches to a drill.

Did the job but took more coats than expected.
This product was low-odor which was good since I was in a basement room without ventilation. However, it went on a lot thinner than I expected, taking 4-5 coats in places. I did have appropriate rollers and quite a lot of experience painting, just not with this product. Overall, it did cover a lot more than 500 sq ft though, just in many layers.

It does not hold back water at all,got 1/4'' in rain over 6 hours. all it did was blister up with the water behind it and then burst PSI rating is false advertisement. I had home depot put pigment in it so now I can't return have another 5 gal STAY AWAY
Do not buy this its garbage

Let's see what we can figure out Dave. Zinsser WaterTite Mold & Mildew Waterproofing Paint stops up to 20 PSI of water pressure when applied to a properly prepped bare surfaces. Apply two or three coats, depending on the surface and job requirements to form a continuous pin-hole free coating. The coating will be fully cured in 7 - 14 days, depending on temperature. Quality of the paint is good. If your cinder block is bare get 2x more of this paint than you think you need. It sucks in to the block and takes more than expected.

Covers 100 sq ft/gal with 2 coats. Requires brushing to fill pinholes and hairline cracks. All cans had chunks of congealed paint, time consuming to pick out lumps. Once done properly does seem to provide good waterproof coat but easily scratched. Would need to be covered with floor paint if durability is needed.

We need to know more to get to the bottom of this Marv. Zinsser WaterTite LX Mold & Mildew Proof Waterproof Paint should not have any chunks after thoroughly mixing to ensure any settled pigment has been re-dispersed in the can. This specialty coating is designed to seal concrete foundations and walls to block up to 20 psi of hydrostatic pressure. This coating was easy to apply and I liked the water clean up. It covered up stains on the cinder block with two coats as recommended for water tightness. Spring rains are coming now so we’ll see about water sealing. So far the basement walls have been very dry. Loved the clean white color. It really brightened up the basement.
