Mold from hurricane Ian - Florida
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were hit by hurricane Ian sept 2022 - and we had horrible mold in one bedroom 10 by 10 and two closets - it was recommended to use Kilz- I’m not a painter but I thought I can do this! I took a couples hours to vacuum dust the walls and tape out a few receptacles- I had it done in 4 hours - it looks great , it did the job I’m 100 percent satisfied- thank you Kilz , Becky

Easy application
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I have painted nearly every wall in our house, but we’re definitely no professionals. This paint is very beginner friendly. If it seems a bit thick, try mixing the paint manually and with a stir stick to thin it out a bit. We used this to prime our bathroom and paint the ceiling and it went on beautifully! We used a smooth-semismooth surface roller, nothing fancy. Just need to throw a second coat on the ceiling (if we had spent more time evenly applying it, I’m sure we could get by without it) and we’ll be on to painting!

Great product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to remove my slumlords bathroom sink and replace it with a kitchen sink when I removed the old sink I found nothing but black mold so I replaced as much drywall as I could afford and I used KILZ MOLD AND MILDEW interior primer to paint over the new dry wall and the existing dry wall covered in mold and so far it has worked no new mold has seeped through my KILZ primer and paint. This stuff is amazing and has saved my health for the last 2 years

Covered raw and painted wood
I moved into an old house where things had been done in a less effective way than I would have done them. The master bathroom has a built-in cabinet on the countertop but behind the tub wall as well as cabinet and drawer storage under the countertop. There was a lot of bare wood and very dingy paint on the shelves. I actually needed to use a flashlight to see into the cabinets for what I wanted to use. I primed all the bare wood as well as the dingy shelves that had lots of imperfections. Then I painted with bright white paint over all of that. Brightened everything up and I have don't have to worry about mold or mildew in the moist space. I just put everything back into the cabinets when I saw this contest. Couldn't bear the thought of taking everything out for a pic. Too many other projects to do!

KilZ does it right
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used KilZ mold and mildew on the kitchen walls after taking over a mobile home that had a leak and became mildew,it did an awesome job covering any areas that we were afraid a potential issue not to mention it Killed the smell issue. So we ended up going back and also getting the Traditional KilZ for all the other walls because we knew it would be successful and it was. This kitchen has been a ton of work but we are thankful to have products that will get the job done.

Covered Beautifully
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this because I purched a repo tiny cabin and where the door was located water had came in and damaged the floor. I ended up removing the door and closing the spot in and installed a window. I did look at reviews before buying this product to paint the entire floor because I turned it in to a bathroom and wanted to cover the water damage. The floor was dry before I painted over the spots. I also installed flooring over it and turned out great!!

We purchased 6, 1 gallon cans of KILZ Mold and...
We purchased 6, 1 gallon cans of KILZ Mold and Mildew White Water Based Interior and Exterior Primer, Sealer and Stain-Blocker, White/Flat because Hurricane Ian ruined our house's exterior paint. It was a daunting task but after 2 weeks of long hour days, all the exterior walls were primed and re-painted. We "loaded with colloidal silica" 1 gallon of KILZ primer to further thicken it so as to fill light slashes and surface blemishes caused by flying metal debris driven against the concrete by 120 mph winds. We highly recommend KILZ primer as it provided a smooth surface for re-painting the walls making them look "new" again!

Old porch prone to mildew

I remodeled the porch and turned half of it into a new bathroom. The Kilz paint combined with proper installation and new windows has made a nasty space into a wonderful spa!

Little Free Food Pantry
