My mouse is smarter than your trap
Good idea but hasn’t worked so far. Mouse ate through the plastic but didn’t get the bait - yet.

There is a typo on the description, should read 8 packs of 2, not 8 packs or 2. Works great, highly recommend. No odor, no visible body, easy set, easy disposal. Safe around pets and kiddos. I was able to buy individual 2 packs.

Worked great! Saw a tail once, otherwise no view of dead body. Safe for pets.

It's kinda funny reading all the different experiences people have had with different traps. I started out using the wooden ones and the mice were able to eat the peanut butter without setting off the trap. I then went to the plastic ones, after setting four and 3 days later I caught one mouse. Then I decided to set four of these d-con no view no touch traps. I caught two the first night. So, yea, they worked well for me.

          Worked for me overnight
I notice a small mouse scuttling in the garage when entering it. Bought this device (actually bought 4) and placed them last evening at around 9pm This morning at 6.30am two of the four had a mouse inside (could see the the tail inside if trying to re-spring the trap) Hopefully I eliminated the entire family It worked with no sweat. I placed inside as a bait a piece of TomCat mouse killer;I thought that in case the device wouldnt trap them, the poison would probably have done the job.

            Rip off product
I buy these traps often to get mice in my basement. I pay 5.50 for 2 traps and only one will set, therefore the trap is no good. This is a hefty cost for two traps and always one in the pkg that is no good I am on a fixed income and do like that these traps catch mice without seeing them but that's alot of money for only one useful trap.

Hello, thank you for sharing your feedback and we're disappointed to learn about the experience. It will be helpful to know that to set the trap, first hold the base of the trap in a horizontal position, and twist the top cover in a clockwise rotation (in direction of the arrow) until it locks. A red indicator will show through the hole marked "Set" on the top of the trap. A mouse entryway will open in front. We hope this helps! As the manufacturer of d-CON, we'd like an opportunity to assist you better. Please call 800-228-4722 between 9:00-5:00 EST (Monday - Friday) or send an email to us at consumercare_usa@reckitt.com, including the following case number RB0001667937, and we would be more than happy to assist. We look forward to hearing from you soon! Sincerely, Your d-CON Team! d_con
              Would not stay set
Tried to set it, but the minute I laid it down, it was so sensitive that it worked the trap. I tried over and over and the same thing kept happening. Very frustrating. Money lost. I am sure if they work correctly that they would be wonderful. I am not a person who wants to deal with this sort of thing and I thought when I purchased these traps that I would not have to see the mouse and could dump the whole thing in the trash. Did not work for me.

Like Cherylf2112, I tried a few, these worked in 2-3 hrs
My mice are too careful, smart, delicate-mouthed to be caught by wooden snap traps, and defeated a have-a-heart type cuz its lid could fall off. Both D-Cons worked after 3ish hrs. Truth? I also got a handy friend to tell me how to open& re-set them(ok, ick, yeah, poor foolish invaders), so now I'll see what phase 2 gets. Expecting 2 more (and done?) So, Happy with these!

Needs to be larger for total effectiveness...
These traps will work but not in all conditions. They work the best when placed in dark corners areas free from a lot of noise and with the proper bait. The size of the mouse is very important with these traps. I have caught a lot of small ones but never have caught any adult mice and I think that’s because they know how much area they can move around in. Chocolate, peanut butter, and mini marshmallows are the best baits to use in this trap. If you have a cat or a number of pets, forget placing these in areas on the floor even if the animals cannot get to them. For some reason mice avoid these things when there’s a lot of pet activity in the home. I use an electronic rodent zapper along with the Victor snap traps to take care of the larger mice. That’s why I know there must be some issue with the larger ones entering these traps. Someone told me that their whiskers are feelers and if the whole is too small, they won’t bother entering the trap no matter what bait you put in it. The station is very touchy when set and some of the containers need to really be handled gingerly in order for the setting to stay where it is. For me that’s a detriment because if a mouse crosses over a very sensitive trap, it will trigger it and the trap will prove useless.

                  Don't buy
I followed the instructions (very easy) set the trap correctly and placed it in an area where I last saw a mouse. A bit later heard something in the trap (I baited it with peanut butter...mice love it) and actually watched the mouse turn around after eating the bait, sit at the opening for a bit then run out. Trap never went off and mouse was in there awhile munching on the bait. Tried again with another trap same thing. The trap never worked. very disappointing.

The product is great in theory, but proved ineffective against my mouse problem. The mice just avoided them regardless of the enticements I used (candy, crackers, peanut butter, etc.). So disappointed. Huge waste of money,

Caught my little friend the 1st night traps were set. Turns out he was a loner. If others find their way in I will know what to do at the first trace of them.

Set out 3 traps, two had occupants the next day.
Add a dab of peanut butter and you're good to go. The traps that were occupied did not feel heavier and nothing moved when I shook them. But upon close inspection, a mouse tail could be seen inside two of them.

I learned the trick to make these work
At 1st didn't think these worked. But I couldn't stand getting my fingers snapped in old school traps. I learned that you must put trap along a wall where you've seen droppings, they take the same routes. Put with hole FACING the wall. I assumed they would run in it if hole was in their path but nope. Hole facing wall works. I use a tiny piece of hazelnut. I love that all you have to do is twist top of trap, set it down, check for the red dot if 1 is in there. Kills them instantly but I don't have to see their broke necks. No poison around my pets either.

                        Worked!
Caught a little mouse that some how got into my car. I set it up under the hood and had several glue traps inside the car. Went to go check on it the next morning and it caught the mouse! Don’t even have to see what it looks like!

After reading the reviews on here, apparently some people have actually had some luck with these "traps", I did not. I bought some of these traps, placed them in the cellar and in my garage, they did not catch anything! Left them there for weeks, months, still nothing.

I put several of these in my basement where I saw mouse droppings. I haven't caught a single mouse in over a month. I followed directions to the T. But, I still hear them scratching in my walls. The mice in my area aren't easily fooled. Farm grade poison is the only thing that's working for me.

The only got thing about these traps are the fact they are easy to set. Have had no luck catching mice with these, they sat so long the bait feed up. Removed the Decon trap and baited a standard wooden trap, put ou in the same spot and caught a mouse within a couple of hours.

I've always preferred the "No Touch Mouse Trap" compared to the old wire/wood traps. Trying to set the old type traps aren't that easy.
