Installed in my basement apartment. Puts out great light, and I love that it’s dimmable (for movie nights). These have a simple and clean look. Install was easy. The video on the Home Depot website was helpful for understanding the remote control settings better. I deducted a star only because I think they are a little overpriced. But I do not regret my purchase. Happy customer

This is fantastic LED panel, perfect size to install on 2'x2' hanging ceiling opening regardless if it is a commercial or residential application. It is perfect for office area in particular because the light frequency is fully adjustable in terms of color temperature (3000 to 5000K) and output (4200 lumens max), but also because of the type of LED and illumination uniformity and substnatially reduces eye fatigue after prolonged straining. The light dispersion is excellent, wide and even, providing fenomenal coverage without glaring light source, yet without forming and dimmer spots. The Edge-LIT LED Gree technology scatters light widely in a uniform pattern without darker, or unevenly brighter or dimmer sports on the light. There is just a nice even consistent light scattered across the surface. It is deflinitely a great substitution for any outdated 2 x 2 fluorescent troffer. This item was delivered to me via courrier service which is not overly careful with large packages. This one was roughed a little but the sturdy box, corners and spacers along the sides give enough support so that both panels were intact inside their plastic wrapping. Installation is pretty much plug and play, instructions are detailed and well readable. The set comes with a 2.4Ghz remote that controls both lights or each separately and can integrate with other lights if you have additional ones. Instructions come in handy in this scenario. I liked that they included hanging brackets which could be used to provide additional support, and they can be used to install this set not only on a standard T-bar ceiling, but also as surface and wall mount installation. The set does not contain strain relief clamp or metal string for securing during installation, but surface mount kit and tension mount string is available through contacting eSenLite. Corners are sharp but once installed they remain hidden in the ceiling's framework. Wiring installation can be done using a central LED controller, separately as standalone light fixtures or in series controlled together by the remote and a single switch. LEDs must be a new generation, because heat coming from the unit after continuous 1 hour of operation raised 11.5F over the ambient temperature with excellent heat dissipation at the back and along the aluminum frame of the unit. The light can be installed on a standard wall switch dimmer, with no ultrasound noise emitting at even 5-10% dimming, which makes it safe to use around pets as well. It is FCC, UL, DLC compliant. In terms of pricing it seems a little bit high, but given the quality, 80,000 hours lifetime, 5 year warranty and ease of installation and functionality, it is wort every penny by providing fully adjustable lighting for years to come.

... For my occasional studio - see video. Here I am photographing my nieces artistic handy work for a family project. The wide range of lighting color options and dimming settings allows me to get just the right mood for the piece I am photographing. The remote control makes it even easier as I never need to leave to camera to change the mood. The two light panels are fairly lightweight and very easy to connect up and pair with the remote control. The electrical connection boxes are fixed on to the rear of the panels and electrical connection parts were included but not the grommets needed to finish the connection to the electrical boxes safely.

Recently installed these in the drop ceiling of my basement. The quality of these lights are impressive. They give off plenty of light. The remote, color change and dimming features are amazing. The remotes are easy to program and work well. Being that they are LED, you can expect a 2 second delay before they turn on as the LED driver initializes. This is expect behavior if switching from incandescent lights. Communication with the company is great and they answer all my questions. They need to include in the paper work/instructions that they should only be wired in Parallel (not series like incandescent can). Overall, these lights are amazing and kick off TON of light!. Easy to install. Remote control allows you to change light “color” and dim. Dimming does not go to absolute 0 but a nice low dim. Very happy with our purchase.

After installing four 2" X 4" eSenLits fixtures over the Pulpit area at Church, these were perfect for the restrooms. The light is bright and the LED will last a long time and are more economical. They are light weight and fit original ceiling grid. Has a 5 year warranty.

The lights are exactly what I was wanting- I like the dimmable feature and the fact that I can have both bright and warm lighting available.

I had these installed in my home office and they work nice.

They were easy to install and provide great light. I used all four in a smaller area of my basement so they don’t dim very much at the lowest setting. They are a little slow to light up but I believe that is common with these types of lights.

Excellent lights. At full they are much brighter than I expected, so I’m glad they are dimmable. Saw on line that some people had issues programming the remote. Not sure what they were doing since it was extremely simple. They now make my other lights look bad.

These got a lot of great feedback as soon as they got installed. They are very bright and have the ability to be dimmed. The ability to easily change colors was a game changer and very efficient. I am extremely happy with this product and have been using the dimming and adjustable colors on a daily basis. The installation was overall great. I had to bunch all of the wires together where the switches are since the remotes are not direct wire into the wall. I didn't realize that was the case but I actually like that feature because you have the ability to use the switches anywhere in the room and don't have to put them back into the wall. These lights exceeded my expectation.

The lights in my playroom did not light the room enough. I replaced them with the eSenLite 2 ft. x 2 ft lights and it has made a huge difference. They were simple and quick to install. I suggest getting the remote. It gives you so many more options.

I recently purchased box of 2 LED ceiling panel lights. Model # EEFPTL2240W-RC. While the products do provide excellent and consistent light, I really needed to dim them or change spectrum - they are quite bright. There is no way to change the brightness or color range on the panels. It appears that can only be done via a remote, which was not included in our box and is a special order. Upon reading the enclosed product pamphlet in the box I learned that the manufacturer will provide a free remote for the units if I register on their website and leave a comment on the Home Depot reviews for these items. They even offered to swap the wall mount remote with the hand held version. I was very pleased with their prompt and courteous customer support. I really like that the panels are white and blend with the ceiling tiles when off. The entire panel lights up too, not just the areas with the individual LED's reside, making the entire surface space a solid light. Installation was simple and the units fit perfectly in our drop ceiling. They are also quite thin so clearance is not an issue. Hopefully the remote will come soon and I'll be able to set the panel brightness to a lower setting or color range instead of installing a dimmer switch, which these units can work with. It appears that the settings will be stored if I use the remote to turn on/off the lights. If I use the wall switch the panels will reset to their default brightness - which would require adjusting the settings each time, so maybe I'll install the dimmers nonetheless.

If you are looking for an efficient LED troffer light this one comes with all the bells and whistles. Easy install, dimmable, color temperature adjustable, bright white light out of the box. You will need the controller for full functionality, not included in the two-pack. Only detail noted so far is the not so instant response time, close to 2,000 ms, for the light to turn on. Should last you a lifetime, the product seems to be well built and well packaged.

Ordered the four pack to replace old fluorescent troffers in a drop ceiling. The removal of the old troffers was the most difficult part of the project. The installation of the LED panels was quite easy, and the lights worked as expected. The included remote made for easy dimming and changing the warmth of the lights to suit the need. These are in a home office and are more that bright enough. The 50% setting was about what I was getting with the old fluorescents. I highly recommend these for replacement of old lights. I would use these again if I ever installed a new drop ceiling.

We ordered these lights to work with a drop ceiling system. They are the exact size of the ceiling tiles and fit perfectly in the grid. Being able to set light color (CCT) and dimming makes them the perfect application for various venues where different "mood" is required. They work perfectly and I would recommend them.

I purchased 6 of these lights for a room addition in my house. They are a great value at $128 for 2 lights. They are compact and appear to be well built. They also have an available remote that is either wall mount or hand held to control dimming and color adjustment. Very happy!

While the Light was easy to install and provided great illumination it takes several seconds after the switch is turned is flipped before the Light comes on.I will not but this fixture again.

These lights are good, but the DO NOT come with the remote and Home Depot does not currently sell it. Once you purchase the remove from a 3rd party, it’s all good and can control the color temp and brightness.
