Received this rug yesterday. I am absolutely shocked that a company would sell and send an item of such poor quality. Edges are frayed, cutting the frays will only result with the braiding coming undone even more. I should not have to do anything to get a refund…unbelievably poor quality.

Love this rug! It’s exactly as described and of good quality.

The rug is a great size for the price and overall I like it, however there is discoloration in areas that are black and brown and look like stains on the carpet. I also find it weird there is pieces of sticks/tree bark like material mixed into the rug.

Beautiful rug, great color and soft! However, mine arrived with something red on one edge...since it's in a bedroom I could use it without anyone but me noticing and I had already moved all of my furniture before I opened it so I ended up keeping it.

I bought the off white jute rug in the 9x12 size for the purpose of layering another rug on top. I think it’s a gorgeous rug. It’s actually quite soft and not stiff like other jute rugs. The color doesn’t seem yellow. It seems like it is a very light natural color and met my expectations upon delivery. I haven’t had any quality concerns either. I’m super happy with my purchase and feel that it was worth the cost.

Item arrived nothing like the picture. It literally looks like braids, the ends were frayed, and there was a large cut in the middle. It was not nice at all. I am returning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ends of this rug have a raw edge. A piece of trim was added to try to disguise this, which looks horrible. The ends are double as thick as the rest of the rug.

I got the 8x10 rug in ivory and it came folded up and packaged nicely in plastic. It shipped to my home in Canada (BC)in 3 weeks with no extra duties. It is a Nuloom branded rug if anyone is curious and is looking at other websites and comparing. The colour is as expected. I have a photo of it next to a plain white wall and white paper. It is warm and gorgeous and matches the aesthetic I wanted. It is scratchy but softer than most jute rugs. There were some imperfections in the rug that arent really (why I couldnt give it 5 stars). Lots of shedded material left all over my living when I first laid the rug down. The tag said the shedding should resolve after initial period. It did lay flat immediately. I have it tucked under my sectional and coffee table so I didnt require a rug pad underneath. Not a bad value for such a large rug! Very happy with it so far.

Was trying to find a 10' x 10' and came across this one that an IG influencer recommended. Once we got it down and the sofa back on it seems like the edges started to ravel and lost its shape (sides would not stay straight). Figured out that our Roomba doesn't like it and all the loose threads are from that. So if you have a Roomba or other robo vacuum I do not recommend. Overall, for the price it will serve its purpose.

Easy order process. Shipped and received sooner than expected. Well packed. Purchased 2 sizes including runner and both without shed, odor. They add a lovely, natural element to my space and compliment hardwood floors. There was mention of the border by another review, but no issues here. Softer under foot than other jute rugs.

My product came with multiple tears and it sheds like crazy. No rug liner will keep it in place… not happy with it, unfortunately.

I wish I would have read about these rugs. It has a lot of natural fibers and it’s not all black. It has a lot of random pieces in it and it looks like it has stuff on it. I don’t even know how to go about returning a huge rug.

The rug looks beautiful at first. We’ve had it 2 months now and it will not stop shedding. I would not recommend this rug to anyone. I’m shocked it has so many positive reviews. Every time I sit on it with my kids my leggings are covered in rug fibers. Our leather couch is constantly covered in it. If a blanket goes on the rug it gets covered in fibers. Horrible. We do not have pets.

I bought this rug about a month ago and absolutely loved the color and texture! I have been so disappointed though as the longer we have had it, the more the rug is shedding around the edges and pieces of the braiding are coming apart. I really wish it held up better because it was beautiful when we first received it!

This rug is really beautiful and is soft for a natural jute material; I am satisfied with the rug but did want to mention that the braid is not very taught and wish I had known that before purchasing. The flexibility of the rug makes it difficult to lay straight on the sides. It takes a lot of finesse at first to get it to resemble a rectangle and to eliminate the "squiggly" nature of the sides. It is also a very flexible braid so it does "scootch" very easily under furniture. If you like doing yoga in your living room you would not want to do so directly on this rug -- it will move with you. I ordered this in a 9x12 size and used a 9x12 rug pad. Since the weave pulls in different directions so easily it was hard to get it to line up with the rug pad. I am using this jute rug as a base layer and layered another heavier, more structured rug on top of it, so I am not noticing it move around as much as when it was the only rug on the floor. Overall good product for the price.

I have had this rug for two months and it looks hideous. The edges are frayed and coming apart at the seams and there are tufts sticking out all over the rug. I contacted NuLoom and sent photos but they said it's not their problem and Home depot won't take rug returns/exchanges over 30 days. Will have to throw it out soon.

This is a great rug for the price. Looks great in my formal living room. Could go from beach to formal.

It’s beautiful and tightly woven. Round shape helped with an oddly laid out/centered room to balance everything. Only issue I’m having is that the center of the round rug won’t lay flat. It bubbles up. Any tips Rugsusa?

Absolutely perfect for my space! I am trying to find a balance between japandi and mid century moder so I needed something kind of neutral between the styles and this fit perfectly. I built a coffee table and needed something sturdy enough to hold the weight and this did the job. I want to buy another rug for my office next!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased two of the 8x11 in natural jute. Beautiful rugs. They did have a bit of a burlap bag smell for just a few days. As to be expected with this type of material. I wouldn’t hesitate purchasing again.

Stains ALL OVER the rug and wood chips sewn throughout it. I can’t believe they actually sent something of this quality to a customer… the rug belongs in the trash, yet they’re making me send it back, probably to send to someone else who buys it. Please beware!!!!! Nightmare of a experience.
