Not a good fit if you have allergies
It’s a beautiful rug but sheds like crazy. It’s probably not suitable if you have a large dog who can easily pull up the rug with their nails. Also, not allergy friendly.

I am so sorry to learn about this issue! Jute is a natural fiber made from jute grass. The fibers come from the plant's stalk, not its leaves. Jute rugs, like most natural fiber rugs, do shed little fibers that fall out under the rug, which look like dirt when you lift the rug to clean it. The “dirt/shedding" is a breakdown of the natural fiber.

Color is not what I expected
The color in the picture of the rug with a white border appears to be a cream taupe beige when in fact it is a golden brown I was disappointed with the color. However, the quality is good.

Great look but not durable
One week in and this runner is already unravelling. I want to an exchange or return but there's a return shipping fee. I'll be looking for a more durable runner.

I love it!
I wanted a dining table rug to a) frame the area and b) bring more natural fibers and natural elements into the space. I’m super thrilled with how it looks. I feel like the color & material of the rug is a good choice for under a dining table. Hopefully spills will be less obvious.

More beautiful than it looked online
This rug is absolutely beautiful. I liked it as soon as I saw it online but I fell in love with it when I saw it. It is
the perfect thickness and softness. It lays flat right away and there is no smell or dirt when you open it like there is with most jute rugs. Definitely worth the money. I may buy the same one for my bathroom.

Great rug
Beautiful rug. Exactly as described and even better in person. The corners wanted to roll up a little, but after laying something on them the rug now lays completely flat. Definitely want to use a rug pad underneath to keep it from slipping. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase.

Terrible rug!
I purchased the round rug. The rug I received was damp even though it was completely packaged in plastic. It looked old and used and smelled awful. It was also so stretched that it won’t lay flat. The center is very bubbled and unusable. I will return ASAP. Extremely disappointed. It was nothing as described.

AWFUL - Falls Apart
I’ve owned this rug since June 2020 and it has completely fallen/torn apart. There are no high traffic areas, no kids or dogs. I paid a lot for this carpet (well over $400) in hopes it would last MANY years but 1.5 years later it’s completely destroyed and I have to throw it out. Rug ripped in several different places and shedded.

6' x 9' Jute Rug with white border.
Great rug, looks fantastic in my area. Ordered the 6' X 9' rug. Definitely took a few vacuuming's to get the shedding to calm down, but that is expected with a Jute rug.

Dining area rug
I love this area rug, the reason I didn’t give it more stars is because it’s already started to unravel around the edges and I’ve had to cut off the sticking out parts. I have 4 kids so there’s a lot of traffic in my house.

Do not buy absolutely awful
I read the reviews and I took a chance and purchase this rug. It arrived after a few days. Unrolled the rug to find it is dirty and used. There are two holes, cigarette burns, dead bugs, and even bark from a tree. The color doesn’t match the picture and pieces of the rugs actually been glued together. I am stunned that this is a product from Home Depot I am so incredibly disappointed. I spoke to a woman on the phone who is very kind. Arranging a return however I’m stuck with a sitting in my house until an unknown pick up date. Such a hassle totally not worth it avoid this.

A disappointment

Off white bordered jute braided rug

Much better than reviews led on
I was really nervous to buy this rug because of some of the reviews. But, I can say that I was pleasantly surprised when it came in! I didn't have any pulls or knots, although that can happen with jute. Also, I was very happy to see that there were more levels of color and depth to it with different colors of jute. Overall, it is a beautiful edition to our dining area.

Good jute rug
Looks great! There are a couple areas where the stitching missed, but they're easily hidden. It's a perfect rug for layering and the stripe is a nice added detail. As with all jute, a little stinky when I rolled it out, but it dissipated quickly
