How can I rent a tool?
Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see what tools are up for rent. You can also call first to confirm a tool's availability, or check out our tool rental page to see if it's offered at your store. If it's not, try another nearby store or contact our Rental Center associates to find where that tool is available. For more info on tool rentals, read the Tool Rental FAQs, including equipment terms and conditions.
How long can I rent tools?
Tool rentals start at four hour time slots. Simply choose the length of time that suits you. Small DIY projects may only require a rental for a few hours, and bigger jobs can also be accomodated. You've got options to rent tools by the month, week, or day, too. If you need it longer than what you signed up for, call your Rental Center for an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I return the tools?
You can return the tools early if you complete your project sooner than predicted, but on-time works, too. As long as you return it by the deadline you were given when you rented it, you'll be good to go. Please clean off residual dust, mud, and grime from the tool as well. If you need the tools longer, give the rental center a call to see if you can extend your rental period.
Do wet saw rentals come with saw blades?
Yes, saw rentals usually come with blades, but we recommend that you purchase your own. You'll likely not get a sharp blade when you rent, as most people won't leave one on there when they return it. However, you might get lucky and have a sharpened blade on the saw. As there's no guarantee, it's smart to buy a suitable blade, just in case.
