i go to this store a lot, this visit was a lil different. it is generally a good experience when i shop here but this time i have a broken foot. i got to the front of the store, grabbed my shopping cart, put my crutches in basket, and tried to hop in on one foot while pushing the cart haha. i got inside and saw an employee on the first aisle i walked into. he immediately grabbed my cart for me, pushed it around, asked what i needed and walked me straight to the items. i needed a bundle of 10' pvc pipe, he took it for me. he knew exactly where the other 5-6 items were at and didnt need to waste my energy searching for them. He knew which options would work better for me. he walked me to register, pushed cart to my car, loaded everything for me. great guy. just wanted to publicly say thanks to Armando in Elk Grove Home Depot.

I went in specifically looking for new hardware for my front door and luckily found an associate who not only knew what he was talking about but was extremely friendly as well. He gave me his full, undivided attention which I very much appreciated. Thank you Brian so much! I will definitely look for you for advice on other projects !! Also Susan , outdoor cashier, always so friendly .I did have several young male employees walk by with that blank look on their faces, avoiding eye contact .That always drives me crazy! The store on a positive note was super clean.

Sales associate in the Pro Services area was really helpful in finding materials and supplies I was looking for.

There is does not appear such a thing as customer service when young people are your employees. They don't remember a time when people were helpful or cared about their customers. They are so busy visiting with one another that they are not available to assist, nor do they appear to care to. People are busy and have many things to do and are often on a timeline and can't wait for help that takes 15 minutes. I'm a 64-year old woman and I ended up chucking my own bags of bark into my car. If we continue to accept this kind of service by supporting stores like this, then we condone this kind of service. I don't, and would rather pay a little bit more and actually be assisted by someone who was knowledgeable, helpful and cared.

Brian Davis was awesome and the most knowledgeable, respectful, patient and helpful Home Depot employee we have ever encountered. He helped us find all the products on our list and answered all of our questions so that we can complete our special little horsey project. He should be made employee of the year! Thank you for having him in your employ.

The store was clean, and finding what you want is not difficult. Finding an associate to help or answer a question is extremely poor. You wait for a long time, then when you asked one, they'll say I'll get someone for you which sometimes takes so long that you just leave.

Our home store is the most pleasant to visit. We are always inspired by the possibilities for home improvement and our store is always there for emergency repairs.

The associates working in the paint department were extremely helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. At first, I wasn't sure if the associate was giving me accurate information, so I called Glidden Paint on my cell phone. I got their number from the internet. I wanted to make sure that I was using the same paint that I had previously used and to my surprise, they gave me the same answer as the associate at this Home Depot. I realize that those working in the paint department at Home Depot are very knowledgeable of their products and up to date.. Earlier this week, I bought a 5 gallon bucket of Glidden Premium White Exterior Paint and today, I returned for another 5 gallon bucket of the same paint. This is really quality paint and although it cost $118 per bucket, it is well worth it. I would highly recommend it.

Whether or not I need help, there's always someone there to assist, direct, or answer any questions I may have. I don't enjoy spending money to fix things, but Home Depot makes it enjoyable lol

Great customer service in Appliances by Karla. In our refrigerator purchase she was very patient with us. We had been shopping for a fridge since June,2015, and I could call her anytime to get the latest pricing and discounts on any of the refrigerators, which made it easier on us to decide on the right fridge that fitted our budget.

Went in to purchase a washing machine and I was in and out within 20 min. Could not believe how fast and easy. Received help right away .

I was very happy with the service I receive on the register the cashier had a great smile.

The associate had much more knowledge about certain products I purchased. Armando saved me $90. Of course I found more things to buy once I had saved so much. I also used Home Depot for the upgrades on my kitchen and 4 baths over the last 3 months.

Was assisted by two very attentive and helpful employees in garden, who were simultaneously helping other customers; a very rare find as they certainly seemed to give each customer the feeling they were their top priority.

Store is laid out in such a way as to be able to easily find the products I commonly purchase.

The store was clean, associates asked if I need help, the products I was looking for were available, I brought my Daughter and Son in Law to look and purchase items for their home. They enjoy looking for house hold items as well as the garden, outdoor furniture and accessories.

We all should try to recycle any items we can. Since Home Depot sells so many batteries, both for power tools and for regular use (D, AA,AAA, etc.), it seems they should also help in the recycle process by accepting those same batteries for recycling. Seems they only want to help with the power tool batteries. With all the good Home Depot does with disaster relief, support of employee military service, etc, I find it incongruous they wouldn't accept all kinds of batteries that they sell.

The store was very clean and organized so everything was easy to find along with that fact the associates were helpful and professional.

I was able to price match my new range and not only saved money, but made a purchase from a company I trust and believe in!

I came into the store looking for a toilet seat and a toilet handle. I was able to locate the toilet seat on my own but required assistance in finding the handle. I walked up to an associate standing in the next dept. and made my request. He escorted me to the the many different types of toilet handles and helped me find the best one for my toilet. He was very polite and courteous. Thank you Sir for truly making this an easy task.

Every time I go to the Elk Grove Home Depot the products I need to buy are always in stock. When I have needed the assistance of an associate, I've had pretty good luck getting hold of one. And they always have the gummy bears in stock at the checkout stands for my grandson!!

I needed help in the Patio Furniture Department and then the Electrical Supply Department. 2 different sales associates helped me. Very happy and satisfied with their service. Both knew where the products were located and walked me to them. Great Service in Elk Grove, CA.

Kat Wade is an outstanding customer service associate - she took all the stress out of buying something I had no knowledge about. I'm excited to see my new Bali Expresso S Blinds on my new sliding door. In this store everyone seems very helpful, just ask. If you need help with some blinds, Kat is there for you!
