Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?

Be confident your home is set for wild temperature swings by repairing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. On the outside of your house, examine shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that might let water seep in. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to ice storms and snow. Also, check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If water freezes inside the crevices, you could be dealing with damage.

Do you carry wardrobe moving boxes?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Do I need a generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

What benefits do doorbell cameras have?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

Does The Home Depot Power Inn offer Curbside Pickup?

No, the Power Inn Home Depot does not offer Curbside Pickup. Please check the next closest Home Depot to see if it's offered there. You could also shop our endless aisles online and have eligible products delivered straight to your doorstep!

Great help from the staff and especially the cashier”Jay” Who found my wallet turned it into management nothing had been taken and refused a tip. It really shows the training that the staff has gotten and it was exciting to me that everything works so wel
The product I got was magnetic vent covers and they worked just great and solve the problem at a very reasonable price.

      Indoor Plant Area
I wanted to share some concerns about the garden center, specifically the indoor plant area. First, there is a significant pigeon issue inside the enclosed plant room. Birds are actively roosting and leaving droppings on plants, carts, shelving, and surrounding surfaces. This is not just unpleasant — it is a sanitation and health concern. During my visit, I witnessed employees working in this area without gloves or masks despite the visible bird droppings. Exposure to bird waste in an enclosed retail environment poses potential health risks for both employees and customers and should be addressed promptly. Almost every plant inside had bird droppings on it, when I asked about a discount, an employee told me they are not allowed to discount, they can only throw them away. At this point the entire plant room and contents should be thrown away based on the health condition. Second, I’m disappointed in the quality of many of the higher-priced plants. Home Depot is selling plants at premium prices, yet many are in poor condition — stressed, damaged, pest-prone, or improperly maintained. It does not appear that knowledgeable plant staff are available to properly care for or monitor the inventory. Customers notice this. There are numerous social media threads highlighting the condition and pricing of plants at Home Depot locations. Finally, I’ve observed that declining plants are not discounted to give customers an opportunity to rehabilitate them. Instead, they are often discarded. Many retailers offer markdowns on stressed inventory to reduce waste and recover partial cost. It’s unfortunate to see viable plants thrown away instead of given a second chance. I hope this feedback is taken seriously. There is clear opportunity to improve sanitation, plant care standards, pricing alignment, and waste reduction.

              Hit and miss
This location is real hit and miss with the staff. Sometimes they are super helpful, other times stay out of their way. I waited in a long line at pro register because I had bunch of 16' trim. My turn and the cashier decided to close up. Cart would not fit through self-checkout. I was tempted to just let the wood knock over all the display merch.

                    Happy but not happy!
I purchased a security door to be installed at the end of March. It was delivered 3 times damaged, 4th time still damaged and asked for a discount. Contractor came, not friendly didn’t know answers of many questions I had. He tripped our breakers causing issues with our outlets and it’s day 3 now of still dealing with it. We like Home Depot and use it for many things we need in and around our home but this was all a first! Likely chance of getting work done, I’m not sure yet.
