I received help from an associate in Home & Garden within seconds of staring at a product. As I made my way through the store, another associate kept joking with me about how we needed to stop following one another! It was a pleasant experience overall, and as always, I left with much more than I intended to. But that was my fault, not the store's!

Was in store during restocking. Always can appear cluttered. Otherwise store in decent shape.

Lumbar easy to find and in stock. Associates readily available to help and provide cutting for me so I could be in and out of the store quickly.

The sales associates are always friendly knowledgeable about the location and products I am looking for and also offered alternative options and products.

Every one I came in contact with was very helpful needed an item priced for me and the associate came quickly and was very friendly, also the associate that checked me out was great. Thanks Madeline.

My associate was fantastic! Best ever customer service I have received doing business for the past several years at this store. Very unusual and pleasantly surprising in this day and age.

home depot guy helping 2 guys load there truck said I shouldn't park at the contractors drive because the police were giving tickets, I loaded 7 pics of 19/32 CDX in my company truck by my self. this was at closing time too?

I was dreading returning the left over items after my bathroom remodel. I had TONS of receipts and items and Tomika made it a breeze!! Thanks to her!!

All the products were easy to find. There was a few cluttered areas but manageable to walk around. The associates were very kind and helpful without hesitation. Their knowledge of the store was without a doubt perfect. Everyone presented me with a smile and made me feel welcomed. I never fill out these surveys but the cashier Rayvean talked me into it. She was concerned with taking care of us at the checkout line in a timely manner with the best attitude ever. She's awesome.

I visited after work and the store was very busy, but the associate was patient in helping me. My only problem was I purchased a microwave and I told the associate I did not want delivery, but he included it anyway. I had to go to the service desk for a refund.

I thought the store was very clean and products easy to locate. Also, the store is close to the home we just purchased there for our kids.

We seen the ad in the local newspaper concerning purchasing appliances in a bundle. We needed all appliances replaced. We went to the store and applied for a Home Depot Credit Card which was approved very fast. We then went to the Appliance Department. We were greeted by an Appliance Associate that was very informed concerning the products. He helped us pick out our appliances. He then walked us up front - we checked out - Simple - Courteous and very EFFICIENT! Thanks Home Depot - our appliances were delivered according to schedule - Delivery guys were EXCELLENT - all appliances in working order at this time and I JUST LOVE THEM ALL!

For the past year we have been remodeling a home on Tiki Island near Galveston and we have made more than a few visits to the Galveston Home Depot. We have purchased flooring, paint, plants, chemicals, hardware, lights and much more from this store. Our most recent project was an outdoor kitchen and we decided to install a built in gas grill. We ordered the grill online for delivery to the Galveston store. The first three grills arrived at the store badly damaged. The fourth grill was dented but we agreed to install it in order to finish our millwork while the store ordered a fifth unit. About a week ago the fifth unit arrived damaged worse than the fourth one so we agreed to keep the fourth one and the department manager gave us a store credit to offset our acceptance of a less than perfect unit. The damage to the grills was not the fault of the Galveston Home Depot and was clearly the fault of poor packaging from the manufacturer. However the Galveston Home Depot staff went out of their way to help us and make sure we were a satisfied customer. We are grateful to all of the staff who helped us along the way but especially to Robert Jones, Sara, and Madeline. However I must say that the majority of the staff at this Home Depot are particularly helpful and professional in their attitudes.

I went to Home Depot looking for a specific tool to cut pliable wire. The first associate I approached knew exactly where I would find it and the second associate helped me pick out the correct one. There was only one lane opened up, but as soon as one of the employees saw that there might be a back up of customers, another check out lane was opened immediately. The associates were knowledgeable, courteous, and fast!

Overall, associates were very helpful. Some could be a little more knowledgeable about the product lines, but that comes with experience in the department. I am a regular customer at the Galveston store as I am restoring a historic home--I purchase lots of 'everything' in the store from tools, to bath supplies, and gardening supplies. I also do a lot of seasonal shopping at this store. Keep up the good work..........

I really like this unique store, if I need something I will certainly find item which I needed in The Home Depot !

Store is always clean. Employees are always helpful and I have learned a lot from some of the managers on how to fix things and what to use.

The store was clean and I found everything but the associate that I talked to was going to tell me something and his phone rang so he told me to hold on and I was waiting on him until I gave up.

Its a very standard store. Every one is has the same layout, products, etc. The associates are neither well-trained nor experienced in their particular field, if they even have one. While they are professional and polite, it is clear that very few have any working knowledge of home improvement, DIY, construction, or any of the other myriad areas involved with hardware stores like Home Depot. The store itself is so large, that even finding an associate to help you is a chore and more often than not, THEY have to go find another person more knowledgeable! It takes too long. Within individual sections of the store, because it is so huge, many shelves, boxes, etc. are very unorganized, not often replenished, or missing altogether. I believe that this is a result of too few employees. They can't cover the whole store! Its not realistically possible. I am much more inclined to support local hardware stores because they are almost always more knowledgeable (therefore have a better capacity to help me), the stores are better organized, and my money stays in my hometown. However, Home Depot's inventory is huge, so I need to go every once in a while when my smaller store does not have something. That is my only reason for going to Home Depot. I would be more likely to go more often if my above complaints were addressed.

Found the product I was looking for very easy after researching on-line

all the products were right where i thought they would be. the lumber area was in bad shape. I found what i was looking for, only after i had dug thought other products. the lumber deparment should do a better job of keeping things in place.

The store had alot of freight on the floor hard to manover.

Tried to take advantage of a "buy 1 get 1 free" promotion on a shelf, only to be told by the self-checkout cashier that the offer passed 3 days ago. However, the promotional sign on the shelf did not reflect an expiration date. The cashier fixed everything by simply removing the sign, then telling me the store would not honor the offer.

It is always a good experience when I go into the Galveston, TX store. Associates are great and go above and beyond to assist customers. And they always have what I need.

The employee John was very helpful .He helped my husband with a chain saw. Helped with removing and replacing the chain saw .and fine other items that we needed..very helpful
