Horrible experience with the customer service... the employee had the worst attitude ever ! She ought not be dealing with customers!

Indio Home Depot is so good with customer service. I recently needed a kitchen faucet. Mario, from the paint dept. stepped over to help me. He was VERY helpful, courteous, and seemed to love what he did. What makes a store great? Associates with a 'team' mentality vs., 'that's not my job'. I was thoroughly impressed. Thank you, Mario; thank you, Home Depot.

I went in to buy trash bags. I thought they were on sale but when I made it to the register they were more expensive. So I showed the cashier a picture of the price and the items. She said the only way I could try to get the price if I want to talk to a garden associate. So I pay full price and left.

Love this store but they do need more people in appliances should not have to wait 37 minutes for help and this is not the first time me and my sister waited 1 hour last time

I have used many Home Depot stores throughout Orange Country and LA. This far the mostly friendly and helpful.

Please teach your staff how to guide customers to the right areas rather than "guessing" and sending them all over the store! This is a recurring theme at this store. On this trip, I needed drain cleaner. For some reason, I thought I found it in the tool rental section (when I bought some last year). The girl in that section said "no, I wrote down where to find it though" and proceeded to look at notes on her phone. She sent me to aisle 46. I walked clear to the other side of the store only to find it was not on that aisle. I found another employee stocking shelves on the next aisle over and asked her where to find drain cleaner. She said "plumbing, aisle 9." I went to aisle 9 only to again find no drain cleaner there. As I was ready to simply leave the store and go somewhere else, I saw another employee and asked him. He was able to take me directly to what I needed. I shop at this store only because it is close to my house. But, I dread going there if I know I will need assistance. Give your staff the education they need to help customers find what they need. Teach them to "not guess" and send people walking around aimlessly. I have written very similar comments and reviews for this store yet nothing changes. If there is no desire to change the store culture then why do these surveys and reviews exist?

Claudia was extremely rude to us. Wouldn’t let us use a gift cards from previous returns. Also when we asked for a load she said she couldnt call one that we had to go load our stuff ourselves. Went up to customer service to return items and they helped us out. Waited about an hour to get our drywall and cement.

The pro desk at the Indio location is top notch. They did a great job preparing my bids for my 58 home project. There is a good reason to come to this store for any sized contractor. Look for Holly or Loretta at the pro desk.

No associates around, associates from other department not willing to help, and when asked for help no help received. Terrible service here at Indio Home Depot. Just terrible.

Can you please teach the staff that if they don't know what a customer is asking for, or don't know where to find it, to NOT GUESS and send them wandering the store? This is the second time in a week that I walked the length of the store 3 times due to your staff not knowing where to find what I needed. All they had to do was look it up in a computer. When I finally was checking out (less the one item no one helped with) the very helpful and friendly cashier (Melina?) looked in the computer and send it was an "online only" item. How hard was that? If the first employee did that rather the old "um, go over there and look" routine, I would have saved a lot of time and not left angry - as per usual.

I came to the store for metal fence posts and hardware to attach them to wooden fencing. I could not find the metal bracket I needed with the fencing material so I went in the store (with loaded cart) and checked the following areas: (lumber, hardware, plumbing). I could not find what I needed but I see an employee on the final aisle I was on, (a younger man). I asked him for help and he said they would be outside with fencing materials. I explained they were not there so he had me follow him to the doors section where he asked another employee (older man) where to find the parts. He replied "outside." When the younger employee said they were not there the older employee said: "then you'll need to go to another store." (He did so with a rude tone). The younger employee said to follow him and he also stated that the older employee was very rude and apologized. I followed the younger employee back outside (loaded cart in tow) to the fencing materials. He had me wait there while he asked the gardening employees. They obviously didn't know as the younger employee came back and said: "let me call Brandon in lumber." Before he did so, I showed him a photo of what I needed and I showed him the actual part sitting in that section; (there was one much too small for me part sitting on a random shelf). He tried explaining what I needed to Brandon but was terms like "connector thing for fence posts" so I said, "ask him where to find U shaped connectors to attach to a round pole to wood." Brandon told him to take me to lumber. I again followed the younger employee to the other side of the store (loaded cart in tow) to the lumber section where various connectors are. But, none of them were what I needed (or even close). At this point, the younger man said he was sorry. Having walked the length of the store with my cart 3 times, with marginal help and a rude employee I was beyond frustrated. I left my cart in lumber and proceeded to leave. As I passed by one aisle I noticed an employee thas helped me a few other times at this store and has always seemed to find what I need; (Carlos). I decided to ask him for help in one last attempt. Carlos walked me about 15 feet to exactly what I needed! What a surprise - not only does the store have what I need but at least one employee knew where to find it and was courteous. I thanked and proceeded to the check out lines. As I got to the checkout none of the lights were on and no cashiers were present. There were two other people looking around as well, wanting to check out. A man approached (possibly store manager) and directed one person to the service counter. He then directed me to the other service counter but as I approached another customer was called there by a cashier. So, the (possible manager) called me to a check stand where he rang up my items. When I commented on my trouble finding what I needed his reply was simply "that's because you didn't ask me." From a service perspective, this visit was a huge failure by the store. *One employee who tried hard to help me and was nice, but has seemingly no knowledge of the store or industry *One employee who was very rude and suggested going to another store *Gardening employees who offered no help *Carlos, who was very helpful and found what I needed in less than 10 seconds! *Possible manager who showed no empathy for my situation and instead made light of it It took me over 30 minutes to find one simple part. If I had another shopping option near me for similar products I would use it.

The employee at the rental tool and flooring were really friendly and helpful. The store was nice and clean. The products were easy to find and the cashiers were friendly, helpful and fast.

This store is really convenient for me so I go there but don't go to this store if you need help or advice for your project because some of the employees who work here don't really know much about the department they are working in or to make matters worse it's really hard to find help from the employees in this store. Don't get me wrong some of the employees really are good people it's just really hard to find the right ones.

I always have found help in a short amount of time. We have found the employees to know the answers to our questions and help us find what we are after. They are friendly and seem like they enjoy helping you.

Very friendly, smiling, courteous employees WHEN YOU CAN FIND THEM... Much to be desired with their product knowledge. They seem to be too busy doing "front and space" products!
