I would like to say that all the self lane cashiers are amazing! Lori, Bari, Hailey, Venus, ect. are all very kind and know my family by name. They are always helpful and pleasant for sure! Kathy at the return desk is really sweet and friendly always willing to sit there and scan my returns (even gas pipe returns). Andrew at the Service desk is knowledgeable and helpful. I could go on and on. Overall this is MY Home Depot store for sure!! I will say that today was one of the first time i really felt disrespected by one of the customer service reps (Jamie). She is always mad it seams but today she treated me terrible. i have been going her for over 10 years and am there at least 2-4 times a week. They all know my family and kids and say hi and ask how things are and what we are doing now which is why we go here. I went in to get some garden tools (ames) exchanged like I had the week before with no issues and no receipt but today I got to deal with Jamie. Normally when I walk in I see Kathy and say hi but today Jamie was there. I had three tools (ames) to be exchanged and the first thing that came out of her mouth was do you have a receipt, no hi just attitude. Long story short she treated me terribly. She even took 5 minutes to prove her point by printing out the entire warranty for me like "see i told you so". For a customer service rep who is the face of the company when you walk in to have attitude and just is not pleasant is bad for business. I will continue to do business here as i will not let one person ruin it for me but i will wait to deal with someone else next time. Other than that I love the people her. Supper energetic (like i am) and super kind.

Carole was an excellent cashier

Everyone here is always sooo friendly, they treat us like family and are always so helpful to us anytime. They are patient and kind, LORI, BARI, VENUS, and KATHY and many more are fantastic!!

Carole in the Pro Department is a great lady, even if work is overwhelming to me if Carole is working her kindness and helpfulness in getting me out of there makes me feel better. Makes me happy to come back as well, because she remembers me.

If anyone is in need of appliances see Gary in the appliance dept. He was most helpful assisting us with purchase of appliances for our new home.

Please give credit to Venus (McHenry Store). She went above and beyond in helping me after a very frustrating experience with phone calls, hang up, transfer to different department (no answer) being yelled at from someone on the phone, etc.

I would like to share something I just saw outside of the McHenry Home Depot store. It was an older couple who I just purchased some potting soil and other items which they brought out to their car on a flatbed cart. Two young men approached the store and we’re passing by where they had their car parked to load up their goods when one of the young man asked, “would you like us to give you a hand with that?“ The older couple gladly accepted their assistance, and soon the young man had loaded up the elderly couples car and was pushing their empty cart into the store. These were not employees, but rather customers who arrived that decided to help out this couple. I think it says a lot for a store when the customers who show up are in a good mood, good enough to help other people out and delay their own shopping. I certainly feel that way when I go to this Home Depot.

Elise was amazing! Special order came in with a damage. She helped me get another ordered stat! Extremely professional and understanding!

I had an emergency my refrigerator broke down and I feel Venis and Nicole Went over and beyond to help me and to make sure my needs were met

Carole the chexk out lady was fantastic. Helped me find a product price. Went outside to scan it when she could not find it in look up and made sure that as a handicapped person I had help loading my purchases

Geri and her team are phenomenal. Everyone I've met over the past 3+ years have been very helpful and more importantly knowledgeable!! It's nice to walk around and know employees by name and have them remember me. Keep up the great work!!

All customers' employees were very helpful in finding what we needed. I ordered our kitchen cabinets 11 years ago and we still love them.

I'm a general contractor, so I purchase, and often return, many items. Kathy is usually the one I see at the RETURNS counter. She is ALWAYS friendly and smiling, and really seems like she wants to help...even when we return a whole bunch of small parts, which I know is a pain in the neck! While everyone at this Home Depot is generally friendly and helpful, Kathy is a cut above! My recommendation is to give her a RAISE! If everyone we deal with in stores treated people like she does, it would be a much more pleasant experience!

Clean store and friendly/helpful staff. Love being able to pick up items for my projects right away and if not, can be ordered online and picked up at the store.

Have had a great/excellent experience every time I have found a need to shop at this store. Looked up the items I was needing for a project, wrote down the Aisle and Bay location from the internet search and when I got to the store, THERE THEY WERE!

Great place

I went to this Home Depot to look at a lawnmower. I moved to Mchenry in May 2019 and Home Depot is blocks from house. A floor rep came over and asked if I needed help. We started going over the lawnmowers. The worker took one down and opened the box, as he was showing different options. He was going to use the mower for Display put said for me to take it assembled. N/C. Then the cashier got me a 75.00 discount for applying for Home Depot Credit Card. Fantastic People
