I went in with a few concerns about how to patch up areas among my air duct, sure enough, the first guy (Glen) I talked with had a strong background in HVAC and could help me with every question. Been in this store 5 times in the last few weeks and each time, no matter who I ask I always feel like these people are 'experts' in their area. Thanks - I'll be back!

The store was very clean and it was easy to find what I was looking for. People are very friendly and always willing to help.

The sales associate (at checkout) asked if we had any questions about the product we were purchasing. I asked about the measurement of the item being different from other similar items. She explained in detail about why the particular product had a different measurement--a detail that implied she would have to had complete knowledge of the product. We were impressed and she was very friendly and helpful.

I was buying floors to be installed the next day. I needed prompt and efficient service and I got that with the associates in the flooring department. I want to give them a shout out: Glenys, Luis, and Dante! Also, Mitchell helped me load my stuff in the car with a smile. Well done Slaughter Lane Home Depot. You are now my favorite place to shop! I was looking for shower sliding doors and Home Depot makes it easy to figure out what you need. I was able to buy the three pieces needed for my shower without having to buy a package.

The cashier by the name Maria is very friendly and is smiling everytime I walk in or by her, she has a warming attitude and it makes me happy to walk in to the Home Depot!

someone stole my 28f extension ladder so I had to buy another one. I did some research last time around and bought it in this store. I didn't waste time this time around. Upon arriving at store, I went straight to the ladder section and picked one up. I asked Cashier if I could use the contractor check out lane, which was just next to the ladder section. She promptly said yes while helping the other customers before me. At my turn, she tried to find the barcode to scan but couldn't find it. She then tried to lift the heavy ladder to see if the bar code was underneath. I helped her to life the ladder and she found the barcode. When I was trying to load the ladder on to my sedan, another customer walked by and offered ropes and helps. Wonderful holiday feeling!

During my visit in the Home Depot I have always experienced friendly and knowledgeable staff. They were willing help me out every step of the way during my visit. Great job guys/ girls!

Could be a better so I'm can have a 10 all the way

I was under stress due to having to buy a refrigerator as mine broke down. Music helps to de-stress me, but unfortunately the store had none playing. I was told that it didn't work on a regular basis. I think it is important for the morale of the employees and the mood of the shoppers to fix the problem with the music system for the store in South Austin on Slaughter Lane. There was a package deal for four LG appliances, promising an extra discount. This helped seal the deal, for my husband and I but due to our need for a gas stove instead of the listed electric one we were denied the extra discount. There really should be an electric and gas stove available to choose from for every package deal. Then when all was set up, we found out we had to wait almost two weeks for delivery. What a let down. This should have been shared from the beginning. Why is there not stock of these appliance package items ready for delivery? I'm living out of ice chests for two weeks. Otherwise I was satisfied with my experience with the store and employees. I had the pleasure of first looking at the the appliances at the North store by the old airport near 51st and I-35 and found that store to have a great new vibe and energy. If that could be duplicated at all the Home Depot stores that would be amazing. There seemed to be a worker in every aisle and they all seemed happy and helpful. The appliance guy, Angel? was so full of information and eager to share what he knew with us.. I found the South Store where we bought our appliances near where we live was like shopping at McCoys. A big warehouse where builders and construction workers shop instead of the feel I got at the old Airport store where I felt like I belonged and wanted a project so I could shop there. I understand there is a lot of money and new homes going up in that area as my nephew just bought over there. So to be fair that may play a big part in the difference between the two stores, besides one being a newer store than the other. I called the store today to find out when my appliances would be delivered tomorrow as stated when purchased. I was informed that they would call me tonight and notify me of time by an automated message. It is now after 11pm and I have received no call...

Store is located close to my granddaughters homes. Prices are comparable to what I am use to. The employees are super friendly and the selection is outstanding. Easy access to parking, merchandise and the store was neat as can be expected for the up coming Christmas season.

Very pleased with the one-on-one service I received from the store manager, Mike Hanson. Considering that I was shopping during one of the busiest days of the year, I did not expect to receive outstanding customer service. However, to my surprise not only did I receive excellent customer service, the store manager addressed every question I had and then some; even helped me out to my car. All this during one of the busiest days of the year, incredible!! Special thanks to the store manager and staff for the exceptional customer service received today.

The Pro Desk cashier, Jackie, is great. The loading staff is very helpful.
