When it's time to make the leap into a big home improvement job, you might not have all the required tools in the garage or workshop. Don't let that stop you when you can stop by The Home Depot Snohomish Tool Rental Center.
Tool Rental
Our tool rental choices expand your toolbelt and toolbox with the precise tools you require to complete your project. It's impractical to purchase a specialized tool when you're only using it once in a while. When you're thinking about buying a new tool, give it a spin first before you select which one to buy. Whatever your situation, we have the tools you're looking for.
Make Painting Easier with Paint Sprayer and Ladder Rentals
Take advantage of longer spring days and paint outdoors. Rent paint sprayers to get optimal coverage fast and make surfaces look new again. Ladder rentals help you reach elevated places when painting fences, houses, and sheds. We carry extension ladders and step ladders for small to medium jobs, so you won't have to wait when you're feeling motivated to check that job off the to-do list.
Rent Air Compressors, Nailers, Power Tools, and More
Tackle major projects with robust power tools and air compressors. Fix that leaky roof or put on a new one with nail gun rentals. Construct a new wall, shed, or house faster and more efficiently with construction nailers, impact driver rentals, and other tools that suit the job at hand.
Load 'N Go Trucks
For transporting large tool rentals or anything else, we keep Load 'N Go trucks on hand. You're sure to find the correct size for your project so you can keep your timeline running smoothly. As your trusted source for DIY and storage projects, it's easy to make us your source for truck rental as well.
Whether you're in need of everyday tools like drills, power tools like tile saws, or large industry tools such as concrete mixers, we've got you covered. We'll even rent you the vehicle to transport it to your home or project site. Let us help you complete your next DIY project with the right tools and transit for the project.
How do I rent trucks and tools?
Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see what tools and trucks are up for rent. If you want to be sure of what's in stock, call first to inquire about a tool or truck. You can also check out our truck rental or tool rental pages to see if what you need is in stock at your favorite store. For more information on renting tools, read the Tool Rental FAQs, which includes equipment terms and conditions.
Can I rent tools by the hour?
You can rent a tool for four hours or more. Simply choose the length of time that suits you. Small DIY jobs may only require a rental that's a few hours long, and we can accommodate large projects as well. You've got options to rent tools by the day, week, or month, too. If you need it longer than what you signed up for, call the Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.
When can I bring the tools back?
You're welcome to return the tools early if you finish your project faster than planned, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off residual dust, mud, and grime from the tool as well. If you need them longer, call your rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.
How long can I rent a truck?
Rent a pickup truck, van, or flatbed truck for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes might be plenty. Otherwise, consider renting it by the day or the week, depending on how long your project is. Be sure to factor in the drive between the store and the job site, as you'll need to bring it back to the same store you rented it from. Penske moving truck rentals allow round-trip options as well as one-way options, and they have different terms. Be sure to read the contract and terms and conditions before choosing a vehicle.
Do I need to refuel the rental truck when I'm done?
Yes, please fuel up the truck before you return it. Match the level of gas that was in the tank when you received the rental. When you don't refill the rental vehicle, you'll be hit with a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.
Do I just need a driver's license to rent a truck?
No, you must hold a valid driver's license and be 21 or older. Depending on your state, you may require car insurance, as well as a credit card hold or a deposit, too. Please bring your credit card for Home Depot truck rentals, as we don't accept cash. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements, so read those if you plan to rent a Penske truck.
