The staff is always very friendly and helpful.

Shopping in the Home Depot off queen street you don’t have to search around for someone to help you they see you and ask you if you need help. I didn’t find that in any other Home Depot in the Nearby towns. There’s always someone there to help you right within the entrance of the store. Joe in flooring went above and beyond to help me with my choices.

I had a great experience with an employee named Eric. He came running over out of no where to give me a hand when Sheetrock. Even ran outside and got me a cart. Not 5 stars because the manager at the self checkout was miserable and treated me poorly for no reason. She ruined the mood of all the employees in the area. Not someone who should be working with customers if you care about customer satisfaction. Thank you Eric !

It is a long drive to reach the parking lot

Very helpful young lady in the paint department helped me with paint recommendations for the condo I just bought as I have a blind dog that has accidents against the wall at times. Cashier was very friendly, but the absolute star of the show was the incredible man who loaded my purchase into my Jeep, as a 5 gallon paint can is much too heavy for me. His name is José. Please believe that HE is the reason that I will happily come back to Home Depot, as he was friendly, helpful and professional.

Sue went above and beyond in helping me. She did not ‘point’ to the isle. She took me to the isles and helped me find items for multiple projects. She asked my name (a first). I felt more like shopping with a friend than an employee. Awesome job! The Home Depot is lucky to have you. Thanks to Cheryl and female tool representative (Cheryl knows her name) as well.

Have been shopping at this store since it opened. They always have the product(s) I need and very competitive prices. Also very convenient to my home.

I was happy with doing my shopping at Home Depot, even had kids giving me gift certificates for birthday and Christmas. However, Home Depot has changed the way the do the veterans discount through a code you must present. Not being tech savvy, I can’t seem to come up with the code unless my daughter or wife is with me. So, even though I have my military documents with me, I didn’t get my discount on my last visit. It is disappointing. I am going to going to the other home improvement store in our town from now on, since they give you the veterans discount without all the hassle.

Great place to find home maintenance,upgrades,and repair supplies.

The employees are great to customers and are very knowledgeable! Sean is definitely a person to look for he is a great person very knowledgeable and helpful and friendly. Made my experience very good at this location!

Courtney in appliances was helpful, friendly & professional. We were in this Home Depot a few days before looking at washer, she offered to help answer any questions we may have. Both my husband & I felt like she really wanted to help. We have been looking for a washer for 2 months, I did a lot of research & went to several stores, small & large. Outstanding staff, always friendly and helpful. Store is well organized, fully stocked 99% of the time and ordering online, when needed, is extremely easy. Prices are comparable with other chains on many items but the staff who always help you out are the real reason we continue to shop here. Triple check your receipts before you leave or even before you swipe credit card. This store is by far the worst when it comes to actually showing the prices your charged from what your told and from what the labels show Buyer beware

I went to this store after my washer died in mid-cycle. I am the primary caregiver for my 83 year old mom who has Alzheimer’s and she is stage 6, completely incontinent. I walked into this store desperate amd frantic for a washer. Jeff the store manager immediately began offering suggestions as to which washers would meet my needs based on the model I was looking at, the features I told him were important and my budget. He went above and beyond to help me in a timely matter because I was frantic to get a washer immediately. He Empathized with my situation, was honest in his assessments about various models, called Rose to help me look for comparable models so that I had a number from which to choose. He then did his best to get me the washer delivered in the quickest way possible. I was floored with the way he made me feel like he would do whatever he could to help. I didn’t just feel like one of one hundred customers he’d seen that day, but like someone who was in a tough situation and he was going to do whatever he could to help. I went to this Home Depot in Southington after having gone to a competitor’s store in Plainville where I felt it was like pulling teeth to get the bare minimum of help. From the time I walked into the Southington Home Depot, I was met by a friendly employee who I asked about washers and she directed me to Rose telling me she was in the department and would be able to help and if she was with a customer there was another employee there who could help. She was at the front of the store but knew the number of employees in appliances. Because of Jeff and Rose, not only did I purchase a washer, but I also purchased the matching dryer because of their help, professionalism and caring attitude. This type of customer care and service during COVID and at a time when customer service seems to be less and less important was impressive and deeply appreciated. I can’t recommend this store and its employees highly enough. It was my first time in this store, but it will absolutely not be my last.

Great first time visit to this Home Depot I traveled from Waterbury to get some items and Had a Great Customer Service experience. I had an item to pick-up at Customer Service Cindy was the person i made contact with and she was Excellent she had my item and i questioned her to see if she could contact another store for another item i was told At Another location that the ladder i was looking for was out of stock at both Southington locations Cindy said she saw the item i was looking for in the front of the store when she came in that morning We took a walk and it was in stock Cindy thanks for knowing your store and your help much appreciated i was was out within 15 minutes !

Employees must wear their mask and that means covering their mouths and noses. This was one of the first Home Depot Stores in CT. The only reason I go here is because it is close to my house.

Poor customer service in paint. Did not provide me with information to make the appropriate purchase. Rude and disrespectful attendant. Poor customer service with paint supervisor.

If your looking to do a propane exchange, don’t go to this store. You pay for it and they never come out to help you. This happened multiple times.
