Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting lead acid batteries, rechargeable batteries, plastic plant pots, and CFLs for recycling.
Our stores sent approximately 5.3M pounds of shredded paper for recycling in 2022. This has helped the planet by preserving over 63.5K trees. It kept over 16K trash bags of solid waste out of landfills, saved over 50M gallons of water, and conserved 7.8M kilowatt hours of electricity.
We have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores since 2010.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our customers and associates, and this commitment extends beyond our stores to our local communities, as well as the environment. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Read more about our eco actions.

We pride ourselves on our ability to help you finish your project, everyday. From gardening tools to appliances our team will take care of you. You can buy online and ship to store using our product locator app.
At Home Depot, we're committed to our community. Through community impact grants, The Home Depot Foundation awards up to $5,000 to purchase tools and materials for local projects to serve veterans and veteran families. We also cover a wide variety of topics in our DIY workshops, where the focus is hands-on learning and providing you with expert advice to complete your project.
You can find us northeast of the intersection of IN-38 and IN-37, 15 minutes from the Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center. We look forward to seeing you in our aisles.
