What do I need for my dorm?
We've got your college dorm essentials. Use moving boxes or storage containers to transport your belongings, and disinfecting wipes and cleaning supplies to sanitize the space. Bring a tub of spackle to fill old nail holes and Command adhesive hooks to hang string lights. Extension cords and power strips let you place floor lamps, mini fridges, and countertop microwaves where you need them. If you didn't get a new school backpack or underbed storage yet, we've got those, too. Be prepared to head back to college with useful products from your Noblesville Home Depot.
How can I prepare my home for summer temps?
Make certain your home is set for summertime heat by repairing or replacing faulty components of your home. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On your home's exterior, examine shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that might let water leak inside. Keep gutters functional and clear to keep rain overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.
What's your selection of moving boxes like?
Make storage or moving easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.
Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?
Enjoy power in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.
Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.
