Q:I already have a water line set up for my old fridge which is also a Whirlpool. Can I just unscrew the old connection and screw on the new connection or, are there additional steps to the back of the new fridge for this to be connected?

            A Great Unexpected Purchase

I needed a side-by-side with a icemaker on the door. I am very happy with my choice. Taking some time to get used to the more consistent running because of its high efficiency.                   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: - the tilt-out ice compartment is convenient - so far temps in both freezer & fridge have remained steady - adjustable shelving is nice Cons: - lighting for freezer, fridge and outside (water/ice dispenser) are less than adequate. Most flawed is the ice/water dispenser lighting. When dispensing only water, there is zero illumination to be able to see where the water line in your glass/container. In fact, the glare from the LED light against the shiny black dispenser background blinds you from seeing the rising water level in the cup.

It was delivered but was sent back due to a big dent on the side.I had to empty my old ref the whole morning and put them all back the whole afternoon. Then delivered again the next week. Again, there was a dent on the vent. But I just accepted it coz I was too tired to put back all the food from the old ref and do it all over again. Was not even compensated. Otherwise, I’m very happy with the refrigerator. I like that the ice and water dispenser is on the door. Leaves a lot of room for the freezer.

                      Love This Refrigerator

Went back to side by side and this refrigerator checks all our boxes. Freezer storage much better organized and offers Pizza shelf that allows pizza to be stored on end line books on a shelf. The ice maker and water dispenser is much better than our last one. Much quieter than our last refrigerator too.

                            Good features but lack of quality control

I’m so disappointed with quality control this new product, loud noise, interior trim scratch and touch up, also around refrigerator door not seal properly, two doors touched each other in between.
