A:  Will it work? Yes, properly hooked up, grounded, and dry, as long as there are no flammables in the enclosed space. It is rated for small rooms.(think 10' x 10' space maximum. If it tips over, it's supposed to shut off. You should monitor how well it does so you can set it's "thermostat" to your desired level.

    by|Feb 6, 2021

A:  As long as there is a 110/120 Volt outlet, yes. But it depends on how small the pump house is. If it's too small to have enough room around the heater, the pump house could get damaged or possibly catch fire. This does have a thermostat, but that's mainly meant for room temperature, and there's no temperature indicator, it's just a dial with 1 to 10. Search on HomeDepot for something called "Thermo Cube". You plug the Thermo Cube into an outlet, then you plug the heater into the Thermo Cube. It will act like a switch that turns on when it gets down to 35 degrees, then turn off when it reaches 45 degrees. If you plug the heater into a Thermo Cube, then you can just turn the thermostat dial on the heater to Max, but turn the fan control to Low, unless it gets to single digits, then you might want it on High.

      Answer This Question

A:  I've also had one for couple months. It only has one fan speed. I think hi and low are for the heat levels.

      by|Jan 10, 2021

A:  Yes, that is normal. It doesn't effect the thermal or cooling efficiency.

        Answer This Question

A:  Yes. It’s not that big, a little larger than a toaster oven.

        by|Jan 9, 2021

A:  yes, just make sure the table is stable to do that.

        by|Apr 21, 2021

A:  Hugs, the unit is about 16 inches tall, 10 inches wide and 7 inches front to back. The usual safety common sense applies: Don't put anything flammable in it, on it, under it, or near it. It does have a feature that turns it off if tips over. On table, yes. With tablecloth, or next to that stack of papers; no.

        by|Dec 26, 2020

A:  About 16" high, with top handle, 10" wide, 6.5" Deep. Can't weigh more than 3 or 4 pounds, and will sit on a table no problem. Might not be the most attractive appliance you ever saw, but for the money, it's quiet and works real well!

          Answer This Question

A:  I can't answer that, but it failed to bring a 12x6 sun porch to 60* f in a few hrs on high.

          by|Dec 18, 2020

A:  I don't know in terms of square feet but I can tell you from my own experience that it works great in a bedroom but when I tried it in a large family room, it was not very effective. So I would recommend it for small rooms but not large rooms.

            by|Dec 22, 2020

A:  About 12 square feet. The wife has her home office in a corner of the basement, and it keeps her very warm and comfortable!

A:  No, they don't. The only light is from the small power indicator, but this can be taped over if necessary.
