A: Usually when new they have some moisture in them so in my opinion you should wait until fully dry probably next spring since we are entering the cold weather months. I used deck stain rather than paint.

A: I’m not finding reference to the $0.87 price at my local store, nor the website. For the similar Weather Shield 36 x 2 x 2 product the cost is $25.55 per bundle of 16, thus a cost of $1.60 each, not per linear foot.

A: Yes, these balusters are made from Southern Yellow Pine and are treated with Micronized Copper Azole (MCA).

A: Since I’m not the manufacturer I can’t be positive, but yes, I believe these are made out of Southern Yellow Pine. Frankly I never took the time to read the label, I was too busy installing.
