Excellent as for my granddaughter’s treehouse. easy to drill and to attach to the railing using the decking screws that I used for the flooring.

Railing completion
Ordered to complete railings. Ordered around 200 only dozen or so were cracked or warped.
Installed and look good. Did have some that warped AFTER install but overall good

I purchased 4 bundles of 16 to do the handrail on my deck.. I knew I would have a few extra in case I had any bad ones.. I did have 2 that I could not use, but you always find a couple.. Most were fairly straight and and even the ones with a small bow you could still use.. I always run my spindles close together, it gives the appearance of quality. The wider you go the cheaper and more unprofessional your project will look.

I used these to build a "picket fence" around my deck. So much easier to handle and less waste than cutting up 8' sticks. Bundled with straps so they were all flat & very little to no bow in the 96 pieces I needed. Perfect for my job!

This a hard wood and can split, crack or break if you do not pre-drill holes.
It can hold a lot of weight.
I have used this for a shelf / cabinet that had 2 x 260 pound turtle tanks on the top.
The screws I used went from the top down to hold them in place and on the side to hold a basking platform in place and hold walls in place.

They come wet and had some mold on some of them. They were pretty straight, but they are almost impossible to get if they're wrapped in those small plastic wrap straps on each end. If you don't have a pocket knife, or box cutter with you, they're really hard to get in.

I always buy these but lately they've been coming with too many black spots that when you cut the crack off or they come too bent or out of shape so I haven't been too happy with them lately.
