What size nails would you recommend fastening to the 2x4
.Use hot dipped galvanized, stainless steel, or exterior coated nails, fasteners, screws, or bolts when building all components for your deck. Drill pilot holes to prevent splitting the wood, this is especially important when nailing or fastening near the edge of any components. The length of the screw use to install these balusters will depend on the thickness of the railing that you are attaching the baluster to. Please be sure the screw is long enough to secure the baluster to the railing.

I bought 80 of them and it was alot cheaper and less time consuming than trying to cut them myself from stock lengths. 80 of them plus tax was $97.00 before my Veterans discount.
It is cheaper and u get a better deal.
I took two packs of 16 and give them a single tag off of one and rang up 16

Just plain stupidity, that's all. I had to buy the 42" and cut them down to 36" because they don't carry the standard size. Have you looked in the isles, those who work here, does that not say it all?
