A:  Thanks for your inquiry. These faux beams are very light weight and easy to install. However, the ceiling will need to accept pieces of 2" x 4" wood blocks which needs to be screwed in plus the use of construction adhesive. So this is mostly a permanent type of decorative piece. If removed, you will need to fix the ceiling.
