A:  Thanks for your inquiry. The use of screws is advisable since the the material is hard foam and might dent easily. You can use a small nail gun but you will need to test a sample piece first.

      Q:Ordering 8 of these to place at the ceiling with only a few feet between them. Are they all made from the same mold? I mean, will people notice that they are not real because of a repeated pattern? I am super worried about this having so many in a row.

      A:  Thanks for your inquiry. Yes. these faux wood beams are made from the same mold. This is one of our top rated seller and haven't had complaints about that. It they are very close to each other, yes, the pattern might be noticeable.

                  A:  Thanks for your inquiry. Yes, they be cut on the job. They are sold and shipped in 12.75 foot long. Each full beam only weighs 14 lbs. They are easily cut with a fine teeth hand saw.

                      A:  Thanks for your inquiry. Our faux beams can be painted. However, if you would like to paint them, we recommend to purchase our Unfinished ones. The unfinished one is Model 5APD10005 - It can be painted with a high quality latex paints (acrylic paints). A water-based primer would be ideal to use before painting.
