A:  Yes, they sometimes get stuck. However once you open the hopper, they drop down. I am using this box for three years and I had never wet mail! I would give it 5 stars.

A:  Some larger items may not fall completely to the bottom but if you try to open the top to grab the item, it will immediately drop to the bottom. Highly unlikely any item will be stolen. Never had any problem with rain intrusion. All mail dry during rain storms. Highly recommend this mail box.
