After 5 1/2 years the door broke. My 11 year old son opened it and the internal security bracket broke off. Unfortunately a contractor installed it (I selected it from Home Depot) so no receipt, which means no warranty coverage.

Great mailbox ... very large and well-built. Worked great on our new mailbox post.

It is quite a decent and sturdy mailbox. It arrived on the expected day. There were minor puncture wounds in the exterior cardboard box, but the mailbox itself was in perfect condition. The keys worked well, once we learned the technique of specifically using the key tip to push aside the key slot's weather-sealing door. The local hardware shop had suitable key blanks (ILCO 1041T/CG16), so we were able to create 3 more copies immediately. The delivery door's security panel/system is quite good. We've played with other models/brands systems and we haven't managed to defeat this one yet. In fact, it's almost too good ... see the "one tiny thing" below. As the photo shows, we chose to mount it on 3 pieces of 1.5 inch EMT, screwed into 1.5 inch pipe flanges which we screwed to the box's bottom. We put acorn nuts inside the box to protect the mail from the screw ends. If there was one tiny thing i'd add/change, it would be to have some form of discreet (i.e. subtle) method for flagging that there was mail *in* the box. Such a feature would be "fiddly" to implement, so it really is unrealistic to expect one. Sometimes it's possible to tell by carefully starting to open the delivery door, and hearing/feeling the mail flop to the bottom of the box. Even when the mail is perched partially like that, it's impossible to see or reach without the key. If the mail carrier re-opens the delivery door after inserting the mail, even this "detection system" is thwarted and there's no way to tell if there's mail in the box. We chose this larger size to handle packages and tabloid-sized magazines. It swallows them all. The design is well-shielded against rain and wind, and includes rubber seals around the doors.

This journey started out with a postal delivery person that would not do her job, liked scanning packages as "delivered" without even being on my street, & making a habit out of not leaving these "delivered" packages with the mail! After purchasing a "Reolink Argus 2" wireless camera & solar panel, putting it up & showing video evidence to Amazon what she was doing, that got her in the mood to actually do her job as she's paid to do... !!! Since our mailbox was 30 years old, ugly, and small... decided to treat ourselves, & her to a nice, big, secure drop box!!! Since more & more is online & having to be delivered this was an excellent investment. Between this 48+ pounds of steel & wireless camera, think all the bases are covered for today's circumstances!!!

We bought this mail box because we had two incidence of mail theft. We live ten miles out of town and on a dead end street and have never had a problem until recently. We did the research and selected this mail box because it was large enough to get packages as well as good reviews on security. We get a fair amount of rain and it also handles that well. We got extra keyes made so that we can put them on all of our key rings. The mail box is 1/8 of a mile down from the house. We got some lettering made for the address and installed the mail box on the stand. That part took just a few minutes. We are delighted with the stand.

I wanted a mailbox that would lock and accept packages. I was concerned the oasis would be too big looking, but concerned the oasis jr would not hold enough mail or accept large enough packages. The oasis was a good choice for my stone mailbox column.

This mailbox is built very well and is easy to incorporate into my brick mailbox stand.

Quite large and just what we wanted. Perfect for receiving daily mail and larger packages arriving via USPS. We built ours into a stone masonry mailbox structure which will preclude using the included outgoing mailbox flag, but there are other solutions for that. This box is well - made and quite sturdy, and should last for years. The doors are gasketed to keep the interior dry.

Nice box, but it is a real pain to get extra keys. You have to buy special blanks and then take those to a locksmith to get them cut. It adds another $50 to the cost of the box, Had I known that I would have looked for other options

Nice size. Poor locking mechanism compared to smaller size.

This product is easy to break into. Thieves got my mail by easily prying the locked door. Its a bad design!!

We don’t check the mail everyday so the large size is excellent for several day’s mail without looking too big. In fact, it looks awesome! Perfect balance between modern and functional. Super sturdy.

The extra large mailbox is, well, extra large! It's huge. In a row of 12 mailboxes it stands high above the rest. Because the mailbox was so large, I returned it and bought the Architectural Mailbox Oasis Classic WITH Tribolt locking system. I highly recommend that one!

Sturdy easy to install a no brainer

Easy to install on post. Very durable.

This is our second architectural mailbox (the other one is at another residence). We are very happy with it, as it holds lots of mail if we are out of town, withstands the weather and looks good.

Worked out great. Nice and sturdy & easy to assemble. No more mail theft!
