We don't recommend installing onto a shower wall, as the tiles are not warrantied to withstand constant direct water contact over an extended period of time. You may want to seal around the perimeter of your tile installation just be sure water isn't able to penetrate behind the tiles and affect the adhesive. The tiles are heat resistant up to 140 degrees, sometimes allowing the adhesive to be heated with a hair dryer will help the panels pull loose from the substrate and you will be able to remove using a putty knife. However, the different materials on the tiles are a random pattern and do not have to line up. We do recommend doing a dry fit layout before installing to your substrate as the tiles are meant for a permanent application so once applied are difficult to remove.
