A:  Hi Frank, Thank you for your question on the BCSEK130SS range hood. The recommended mounting height is 18" to 24" from the cooktop to the bottom of the range hood.

      A:  Hi Rivi, Thank you for your question on the BCSEK130WW range hood. Yes! This model will include the 3-1/4" x 10" damper/duct connector. It will not come with the 7" damper, so if you are using 7" vertical ducting, it would be a separate purchase. The part number for the 7" damper is 97018803 and can be purchased through your local Home Depot store or directly from the Broan-NuTone website.

              Q:Can you use the MicroMesh filter instead of the included OpenMesh filters? Trying to capture as much grease as possible.

              A:  We cannot recommend the use of any mesh filters other than the ones included with the range hood.

                A:  The BCSEK1-Series range hood uses a LED module. These are not bulbs. To find these replacements, please contact our Customer Service Department at 888-336-3948 for assistance with obtaining replacement parts.

                  A:  2 small strips of LEDs built into the front underside of the hood. As long as LEDs last, don't anticipate having to replace in my lifetime.
