Q:Purchased this combo exhaust fan/light for a bathroom remodel; very nice unit and works great. But I'd like to substitute the LED lamp with a PAR30L 75W (53W equivalent) Halogen Flood Lamp. Would this be an acceptable replacement lamp for the LED lamp?

A: Hi Burgee, Thank you for your question on model 744RNL. Here is the bulb information from the installation manual that we recommend: Use R30, BR30, PAR30L, or PAR30LN lamps only (75WMax.). For wet locations (tub or shower) - use PAR30L orPAR30LN (75W Max.) lamp only. Use no other lamp types. Do not install a lamp identified for use only in enclosed luminaries.

Thank you for your question on the 744RNL model. The general answer is the shorter and straighter the duct run the better. If an elbow or bend is used, we recommend two feet of straight duct before and after the elbow. The maximum estimated duct run for a 4" duct would be 20-30 feet. Each elbow will add 4 feet to the overall duct run length.

Thank you for your question on the 744RNL model. The bulb is a regular screw-in type of bulb. Simply unscrew counter-clockwise to remove. Replace with a bulb type below.
Use R30, BR30, PAR30L, or PAR30LN lamps only (75W Max.).
For wet locations (tub or shower) - use PAR30L or PAR30LN (75W Max.) lamp only. Use no other lamp types. Do not install a lamp identified for use only in enclosed luminaries.

Thank you for your question on the 744RNL fan and light unit. This model comes with a Type BR30, E26 base, 3500K, 9.5 watt LED bulb. We do not offer a different Kelvin rating option. Our part number for this bulb is 1100966. We are sorry we cannot assist you more with your request.
