Q:does this tiller use motor oil with or without detergent? seems everyone puts detergent in there motor oils these days!
      by|Oct 6, 2023

      Answer This Question

A:  We recommend using standard 10W-30 motor oil on this machine. Non-detergent oil is harder to find. Most conventional automobile oils have detergent. You are to use either or. Small engine gear heads favor non-detergent oil because it foams in the engine less. Thank you.

Q:Awfully noisy. Motor seems to not be the issue. Sounds like a gearset is going to come out of the side. HD assembled so ZERO paperwork or info came with tiller.

Q:I ordered this twice already and it seems to be stuck in 'being processed'. Delivery date was supposed to be a few days after order on both occasions. Is this normal or is something wrong? Trying to plan around this. Thank you.

A:  The same exact thing happened to me. Out of the blue, I got a notification from FedEx that it was shipped out and a tracking number. It's on their truck out for delivery today (8/5/23). Home Depot is still showing my order as being "processed"

A:  I have had trouble with 2 deliveries of the same rototiller "disappearing" during transit last month. It was shipped via Estes. Eventually, I had to call the main HomeDepot 800 number to get a refund.

A:  Mine missed the delivery date by about three days, but it showed up yesterday in fine condition. Log into your HD account and see if it's on order and what the shipping status is.

Q:Can I use this tiller if the soil has bamboo roots?
                  by|Jul 28, 2023

                  Answer This Question

A:  The tiller may unexpectedly bounce upward or jump forward if the tines should strike extremely hard packed soil, frozen ground, or buried obstacles like large stones, roots, or stumps. It is recommended to clear the tilling area of all large stones, roots, or other debris. Thank you.

Q:Why are the reviews/questions for the front tine AND rear tine models jumbled together? Do you think they are the same? If no, isn't this all extremely pointless and deceptive?
