Answer This Question

A:  I believe it's warranted. If the LED itself went out (batteries OK) it was either defective from the start or you drove over it with a steamroller.

Q:Is the Coast PX25 flashlight intrinsically safe?

        Answer This Question

A:  It appears to be well built. I dropped it and had no problems. Did not immerse it in water though. I had several Coast brand lights and have been happy with all of them ... no safety issues.

        by|May 4, 2023

A:  I wouldn't consider this product as potential unsafe. It's not anymore unsafe than any other type of flashlight. There are no small parts that can be ingested by young children. As far as using this in a combustion atmosphere it would safer than a regular flashlight that use standard light bulbs.
