A:  supposedly no, but I think I might take some measurements to see if it will or not. Coast does make a PX1r that is rechargeable and can run on AAA batteries, I can't tell if just the rear cap is different or not. Voltage wise it should. If the 18650 does fit, 3D printing a holder might make it possible too.

A:  No, 18650 designates lithium-ion batteries of nominal voltage 3.6 Volts each. A standard AA or AAA is 1.5 volts. I didn't look to see if they are the same size or not, but if they happen to fit, you would risk blowing your LED light.

A:  To run the calculations you will need to specify with or without batteries - they are a significant part of its mass - and the planetary body you're referring to. The terminal velocity is also dependent on this as the drag coefficient varies with the orientation of the falling flashlight and thus its cross-sectional area. What I can state right now is it is a solid, well-made light with a superb easy to use feature set, and that I would not fire it from a cannon at a concrete barricade.

A:  Yes and I would mount one on my shotgun if I ever should use it at night.

A:  Probably, but not for repeated use. I've dropped mine a few times on concrete, but it seems to have a glass lens, so that's probably susceptible to cracking.

A:  any triple A rechargeable battery would work, but always use the same brand and type battery: caveat: don't mix batteries, don't use rechargeable with non-rechargeable, don't mix rechargeable brands, don't mix rechargeable lithium with rechargeable Ni-Cad batteries.

A:  Actually, Coast does make a lithium-ion powered (with other improvements) version of this, the PX1R; its lithium-ion pack along with spare 3xAAA carriers are available direct from them.

A:  Hello, unfortunately we do not offer a rechargeable battery for this model at this time.

A:  Yes, any AAA rechargeable is ok in these flashlights, I've used rechargeable batteries for years in all my flashlights.

A:  You can contact the manufacturer at www.coastportland.com. It requires 3 AAA batteries. I believe you can use rechargeable AAA's in place of regular AAA's, but I didn't see a rechargeable battery made specifically for this flashlight on Coast's website.

A:  The one which I purchased did not have a case/pouch. I have used the clip on the flashlight to attach to my belt and that worked fine.

A:  it does not come with a pouch, only a belt clip.

A:  Yes, this model comes with a case and holster.

A:  This flashlight does have a metal pocket or belt clip, similar to what you would find on a pocket knife. No pouch though.
