A:  Absolute pain!!! I would have never bought this if I knew that I now need to track down an adapter to use with a basic shop vac. 10-15 bucks to buy a piece of plastic, sight unseen, from some online marketplace. Not buying dewalt dust extractor!!!!!

A:  It could do the job. I use this sander for sanding wood on houses etc. As for the sandpaper … I believe you need to have a very fine grit Like 600-800 grit.  I would find an automotive paint store and ask their advice first !

A:  To produce the best finish possible, start with coarse grit sandpaper and change gradually to finer and finer paper. Vacuum and wipe surface with a tack cloth between grit steps. Your sander is designed to sand into small or confined areas. Its small size and light weight make it ideal for overhead work.
