Answersprobably. you may want to get an "outdoor" rug if that's a concern. and make sure you have a washable padding under it. you could also look into rug squares, which will allow you to replace just that section of rug that is damaged.

I hate this rug. It's quality is good and it looks nice, but it's so hard to clean! The raised pattern keeps my vacuum from being able to reach the flat parts, so they stay kind of crumb-y. And for some reason, pet hair clings to the raised part and the vacuum just pushes it around. The attached pictures are after about 5 minutes and 20 passes with my vacuum. You pretty much have to clean it with the hose and attachments. And since it's black and shows every crumb and footprint, it has to be cleaned often. Not recommended for homes with shedding pets.
Pros:
It feels nice and cushy on bare feet. My cat (obviously) thinks it's comfy and likes to lay on it a lot.
It lays flat and the gripper on the back is decent. The rug is still drag-able, but it's not going to slide out from under your feet.

I was so impressed! The rug that I originally wanted wasn’t available and the price on this one was cheaper! I was a little worried it’d be too plain but it is so vibrant, is thick in quality, and looks like the red carpet! I accidentally failed up and am very happy with this purchase!

i got the seafoam color in an 8x10 size. it is much more blue than the pictures, kind of a blue-gray. I love it. the pattern is in a raised material and is slightly fluffy beneath my feet. the base layer, under the pattern, is a very low pile, the rug is not light and flimsy like some cheap rugs are. this is excellent for the price. if you dont want to spend an arm and a leg on a rug, maybe for a guest room or dining room, this rug is perfect for that. i did have a rolling desk-chair on it for a few days and the weight of people rolling across the rug in the chair did rub away some of the pattern in places, but thats my fault.

I love it! It fits perfectly in my tiny studio. Feels nice under my feet and doesn't have a chemically smell some products do after removing the plastic. So no need to air it out. I like the color too, it's real pretty!
